Great doc!! 4.25 out of 5 on my movie scale.....

Loved it that Jordan gave them credit in the end for the Bulls success...

Love Mark Aguirre for dissing Dantley, and glad that the angry Dantley contributed to the piece.

Glad that Rodman was there to provide commentary but have to wonder why Bird or Magic didn't give any?

    Rick Mahorn's tears....

Was this thing taped in some old abandon building downtown in Detroit or some empty room in the rafters of the Silverdome?

Love it how Jalen Rose talks like he was on the team....and probably wished he had at least played for the Pistons before he retired.

1989 Pistons......Bill Simmons ranks it the 4th greatest team of all time...

I was surprised with some of the stuff about Dantley, although Rascoe has mentioned all this to me many times before.

    I could do without Jalen.

I thought there were a couple of soundbites from Buddha....and maybe one from Vinny...but you are right it would have been nice to hear more.

Salley would have been great replacing Jalen in the Grantland followup. Rose seemed really out of place

Easily the most sober I've seen Rodman in a long time.

I missed the first 45 minutes but thought it was good. There were a lot of little things I'd forgotten.

I enjoyed Jordan (especially) and Pippen's candid remarks about losing to the Pistons.

That Joe's dad stuff was sad.

I could've lived without a couple of McCallum's bits but other than that, quite outstanding.

Follow up show was better than I expected.

Yea, the interview with Zeke afterwards was awesome. I didn't even realize that was coming.

Damnit. That was beautiful. All of it.

Didn't like that no emphasis was placed on the Celtics walking off the court against us at the end. Would've liked some Bird and Magic commentary. Would've liked some more in-depth reasoning behind not protecting Mahorn, and I'm guessing instead protecting Budda -- though maybe Jack didn't regret the trade, in which case I'm glad he didn't discuss it. ESPN/Jordan. Ugh.

Thought Kid Rock did a great job (I used to not like him. I thought he was an embarrassment to the region. Then I saw him in his luxury box at a Lions game. Start of the game, surrounded on the outside/seat portion by about 50 ppl. 4th quarter, alone, intently watching the game as the rest of his party was doing whatever inside. Real sports fan. Credit). Even Terry Foster was solid. Thought Mitch was wonderful.

Really liked getting a closer emphasis on Laimbeer, and his relationship to Isiah.

Really liked getting a better idea of how off the rails Dantley had become (strange dude..).

Liked how big a ussy Pippen was made out to be.

Really gave me a great appreciation for how tough that era was. Kind of lessened my stance on advanced analytics towards evaluating all-time greats. Haven't thought about it enough.. but I think I might alter my all-time team to
    C: B. Russell/Kareem/Hakeem
    PF: Bird/LeBron
    SF: Magic
    SG: Jordan
    PG: Zeke
    HC: Chuck

Really gave me some bad thoughts (re: wanting Isiah and Laimbeer to be involved with the next era).

Jalen Rose is such a dirt bag. Did anyone else catch that nasty shot he took at C-Webb, totally unprovoked, in the follow-up show?? What a classless POS. I don't care what's going on between those two. Total classlessness. I hope CWebb never apologizes and Jalen's never allowed back in Crisler.

Zeke and Bill, all of them-but those two in particular, and esp. Zeke... wow. Just beautifully done.

**Also. I guess Mahorn's broke as hell. Bad investments, luck. He's a little beaten up now.

That phantom foul still hurts. And Bird stealing the ball.

Not surprising that Bird wasn't interviewed. He is pretty candid about his hate for the Pistons and particularly Laimbeer....

    Loved it!!
Cried when Joe spoke of his Dad, had read that before but never heard him speak about it.
Yes, a little more Vinnie and James Edwards would have been nice.
Can't wait to watch it again......

Bill Laimbeer thinks James > Jordan and the toughest guy out there.

Yeah, I have mentioned a couple times here how bad it was. Aguirre although he didn't make the fans happy, made Zeke happy as they grew up together playing in Chicago.

Isn't Dantley an assistant coach in the league? It seems hard to believe after seeing this.
