Darn straight I'm pumped. This is the first time in years that I'm actually confident that we're going to see some positive things this summer, no matter what happens.
I forgot to wear my Piston watch Saturday, so I will take some blame too. In fact I better go put it now so I will have it ready...
the crowd rarely, rarely ever boos the pistons. it was booing after not securing rebounds, not playing defense, and not showing effort. pistons fans only wave when they're up by 20 or so and bored, standing ovation would never happen (ovation for what??) and there's plenty of songs and noise pumping throughout the game. simply put, no effort = no cheering :(
Encouragement is what was needed I guess. How about showing Sheed's "we're bacccckk" video at the start of the second half and then standing and cheering to show some encouragement??
the "we're baaaack" was at the start of the game, and believe me it was ROCKING in there...i'm still not sure how the 11-0 start happened. as for the 2nd half, unfortunately there's so much to do around the palace that a lot of the people don't get back to their seats until halfway through the 3rd quarter :/
I thought you were going to tonights game and had already left?? Are you sending this via your Blackberry or laptop?
He does. His name is Tony!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow. I was seriously about to post the exact same sentiment. Cloud, I think you are making a lot of sense. I agree with what you've been saying, but with a pinch less Schadenfreude. I do have to say, though, that you are a HUGE asset to this forum.
