If the rule is to root for the closest team to where you live then it's not looking very good - Boston sucks.

What? What makes you to say that? I live in Michigan, if Cavaliers and Warriors go to the finals I'm rooting for Warriors. I can't talk for the other people. :)

I always root for the team with the nicest uniforms if the Pistons are not in it.

I always root against the teams who passed on Charlie Villanueva.

I am a big LBJ fan. He is literally the best player in the world today, and a joy to watch play.

That said, I want the Warriors to win in the Finals if it is a CLE-GSW matchup. I want them to win because I think LBJ is so good.

How do you know he is a joy to watch if you don't watch the games? :fencing:

I read some Leecaps about his games, and the quality of writing was so high, it was like I was there.

What if trying for a rebound and accidentally stick a finger in someone's eye ?
And he writhes around on the floor for a minute in pain and they don't even stop the game ?[/QUOTE]

In the 80s we called "accidents" like that "Bad Boys basketball".

I will root for CLE over GS, no doubt.

Cavs beating the Celtics by 39 in the 2nd quarter. This can't be good for TV ratings.

Yeah we might be about to see a 12-0 start to the play-offs.

I still think Washington v Cavs would have been a better series.

I think the Wiz might have gone down just as easily. Brooks was riding those horses into the ground because their bench sucks. Wall and Beal were completely spent by the end of that series.

This is all why SVG should have focused all resources on building something for the future. Free agent signings were a waste. Our best case scenario would have been to get swept in the ECF.

Yea, we were in "win now" mode all season. SVG, for whatever reason, felt the pressure to get back to the playoffs. In the end, though, it was the Reggie injury that really screwed up the entire season.

That sort of patience doesn't exist. Try telling your clients to wait 36 months for a return in the market. "We'll clean up in 2021!"

You have to be win-now. Bars have to be set high. If you set the bar low, you create massive attitude problems. Suddenly, it's not KCP drinking and driving. It is Aron Baynes and Marcus Morris holding up a 7/11 wearing Richard Nixon masks and Bermuda shorts.

This is your best not-funny post I can remember.
