I wonder if he has been working out. It could be February before he's in the groove.
Yep he can sign that morning of 12/7 and play that afternoon.
ESPN - Antonio McDyess waived by Denver Nuggets
he's a gym rat. Dice doesn't strike me as a guy that mopes around his house with a box of Krispy Kremes.
At least I hope not.
The 7th is Sunday. Hoping this will break the Sunday jynx. Even if Dyess is not able to play it is something different.
Would be nice if he could attend the game and give the Pistons an energy boost and make the crowd roar.
Yep, Dyess is going to turn things around for us on Sunday - I can feel it. We are 11-2 on non-Sundays.
I'm so excited for his first home game just to see the crowd (hopefully, there are more than 20 ppl) give him a standing O. He's just so nice, you know his reaction is going to be genuine.
league office is closed on sunday, so he can't resign till monday morn.....
or did i dream reading this?
You are right. Think he'll play his 1st game back as a Piston against the Wizards.
Nice enough to make me want him to sign with a serious contender.
I guess that's us.
I think he can play because his papers are acutally filed as of this point but just can't play until the 7th.
I actually posted something to that effect. I was like maybe he should go somewhere else so he has a chance to win! I think i even mentioned the Cavs. And then i regained my sanity. LOL
I think he's just comfortable here.
Yeah I could have sworn that I heard either Blaha or Stoney & Wojo say last week that he will definitely be active for the 12/7 game at NY Knicks....as longs as he was healthy. Blaha and Kelser will probably confirm it tonight.
December 7th is D day for Defense returns to Detroit with Dyess
Well I stand corrected here and will discount my quote above as the Piston website states that he won't sign until Monday and will make his return and play in his third game of the season for the Pistons on Tuesday vs the Wizards..
I posted the notes on the NY Game thread.
Thanks for the update Dre!
Is Dyess the messiah that needs to resurrect this team, or will he be just another frustrated Piston like the rest of them??
If they go no where, then it will be the biggest mistake of his career when two teams going the opposite direction, Cavs and Celtics could have squeeze him into their lineup for a $1 and $100K ring
To be honest i don't know why he's coming back.
He must really miss Mr. D?, because there is no ring forthcoming in Motown this year unless some other team at the top of the division suffers some sort of injury in May...
Dyess shouldn't have to come back to this.
[STRIKE]I have to agree with you.[/STRIKE]
You and I share the same opinion.
I was wondering the same thing.
