I was excited when they got Delk and really thought he was going to help. I'll also never forget Flip busting out the never before used Delk/Flip Murray backcourt in G6 of the ECF against CLE.

Thank you. I liked this one as well. I only wish I it wasn't true..

I'm good with the Gordo signing, CV.....well......ya see.....mmmmm....I really want this to pay off, there's no reason why a young 6'11'' PF with his skill set should look as bad as he does, but the guy is essentially a LOSER (not personally, in terms of hoops) he gets his numbers in losing efforts, he NEVER does what it takes to WIN! he NEVER makes a winning play in the course of a game, yet he ALWAYS does something to help the team dig a whole towards a loss, he did it in Tor, Milw and now here in Detroit. He's suppossed to be healthy, quicker, stronger, more explosive etc etc etc but..... still looks like the same old Charlie Garbage on the court.

I'd be a lot more okay with the Gordon signing if Joe hadn't given Hamilton that ludicrous contract extension less than a year prior.

This essentially ignores the point that Gordon has never really started in his career. I'm not sure why it would all the sudden be successful now.

I thought the Goldwire signing was a stroke of genius. As far as off the court in the locker room type of impact ....The Rufus Henry deal was overlooked by most fans.

In fact if you google "Rufus Henry" Pistons.... this is one of the few hits I got:

Clearly Mike was not an astute fan.

Who in the heck is Mike Vantasselhoffen and why does that name ring a bell? Is that someone from the old News site???

BTW, I'm quite proud of the fact that the Novice Fantasy Basketball thread indexes #1 on Google for that keyword combo.

I believe Mike was a paypal pseudonym for one of the old forum regulars.

And has many more left. Just needs the right team and system. A lot of talent going to waste.
