Well at least they are consistent in giving us trashy picks. Although maybe JD pulls another one from under the carpet

Just take Shabazz if he is available. It is a no-brainer now.

Yes Slippy, I'll think something for the next lottery, which I'll expect to be in a long, long time.

Dangit. I called this one, but I wish I hadn't. What a dubious honor.

Cavs win it for the second time in three years. Stern is still trying to make up for "The Decision". What a load of crap.

Some talented player will drop out of the top 5 and fall into Joe D's lap once again. It's an annual tradition.

Trading the #1 pick but at what cost?? What can they get?

This lead me to an interesting question...

How would Stuckey goes in this year's draft??? Stuckey right now, with his age and all. Just imagine.

Could he crack into the top 5 picks? top 10?

Chad Ford, NBA Draft Express and NBADraft.Net all have us taking C.J. McCollum at #8, post-lottery. The only difference between the three drafts is whether Cody Zeller or Alex Len goes #7. And that's just fine with me. That's who I wanted out of anyone in this draft anyways, save perhaps McLemore.

    So...

I guess that I sort of love how this sets-up. I really, really, really like McCollum. I think he's the best TRUE point guard in this draft (including Burke, who is a short shooting-guard). I've read all the reports on him. I've seen all the film (available to me) on him. I watched him single-handedly take down Duke in the tournament last season. I think he's got more than enough between the ears to be a great NBA point guard. I think he has a great feel for the game. I think he has great point-guard vision. I love how he operates an offense. He's a great ball-handler. He's a great passer. He can take it to the rim. He can hit the three. He can pull-up from anywhere. He can create his own shot at any given time. He's got great size and athleticism for the position - and should be at least an average defender. He was a four-year college player and he's going to arrive ready to go. He could be as big a blessing at #8 than Drummond was at #9 last season.

Knight is now a back-up combo guard. Calderon is no longer an option. Bringing in a veteran point guard to teach these two is now a necessity (I pray Chauncey).
WHAT DO WE NEED NOW!? We need a SF and a SG who can shoot lights out from deep to spread out the court; and who can defend their positions at least averagely. Creates space down low for Drummond and Monroe to operate. Creates space for McCollum to slash, penetrate, dish, and run pick-and-rolls. CREATES SPACE. Trade or Free Agents?? I don't know. I don't know who these two players will be. But I know what they need to be.

*Need a back-up third big man as well (could be Max?).

ASSUMING THIS (ABOVE) IS WHAT HAPPENS; WHO DO YOU SUGGEST WE FILL THESE QUESTION MARKS WITH???

    C: A. Drummond, *???*, S. Kravtsov
    PF: G. Monroe, J. Jerebko
    SF: *???*, K. Middleton
    SG: *???*, K. Singler
    PG: C. McCollum, B. Knight, *???*

    x-C. Villanueva, R. Stuckey

    Sweet!
...another thread about who we should draft and who we should sign/trade for this summer.

    IMO:
    Kevin Martin - ABSOLUTELY NOT
OJ Mayo - no thank you

I'd rather punt the cap space to 2014 than sign either of these guys.
    ...especially Kevin Martin.
