Now I'm on board with Bennett.
I bet if he formed a B with his hand and legs after every 3 even Panda would root for this guy.
There are some other letters of the alphabet I would like to see.
Aw man, spelling BIG PIMPIN is a lot to ask...
I'd much rather if we saw some dance moves straight from the original bad boy....Rick Astley
first time i ever played ric astley and it wasn't a rick-roll.
Once the man takes his player option and shoves it... DO IT GORES! This Pistons need that Piru swag. And he can create his own points via the jumpshot, which is something we actually don't have. At all.
He isn't a bad option at the two. Id pay him 6.5 a year.
Send the check to me, I'll pass it along to Gores :D
Ok, I'm on a Burke bandwagon
Funny enough I was on the bandwagon until the Final Four. I personally don't think he is going to be a good pro. When I was reading some of the nba draft sites their criticism of him, at the time, sounded ridiculous. Now after the Final Four it sounds spot on..
I'll take Porter and Oladipo before Bennet...
Trade down. Take Burke and another dude in the teens.
No. ...seriously, no.
There's a dude walks around my work like that all day. I try to avoid him.
except folks are going crazy with potential.... Burke at 6 McGary 12 Robinson 15.... The two Freshmen really need more work on there game IMO, want reason number 1 the NBA has less skill then it did 20 years ago? Kids go to early to the big show and don't get the playing time they would in college to improve. Saying that.... I think that McGary might be a better fit/match with Drummond so if we could trade down and get Burke/McGary and then trade Monroe for a stud wing... I would bite.
The only game I watched carefully in the NCAA tournament was the final. There Siva looked like the more NBA-ready PG than Burke.
If Peyton Siva was 6'2" instead of 5'10", he would probably be a first round pick. But, he isn't, and he doesn't really have a great outside shot. That being said, that kid had tons of heart, and he sure can play. The Wolverines set tons of picks and ran Burke around screens, but he almost never lost Siva. He's quick, tenacious, and plays to win. (And he went to Franklin High School right here in Seattle!)
NBA-Ready is okay, but this team needs NBA-Future. That said, I'm not sold on Burke on this team with this coach and this roster. I think he'll be a fine PG in the league though. Especially if he's able to finish at the rim more consistently. I'd just like to see him with another player who can create his own shot.
I look at Burke, and all I see is a young Will Bynum with a sense of entitlement.
