I don't know if we can conceivably win too many games anyway - it will probably come down to how we play in the remaining two games against the Cavs themselves.

Without Drummond out a couple of games, we shall be seeing a lot more of Résumé.

Yea, I'd like to see us drop to 6th or 7th. If we finish 8th, someone will likely jump us in the lottery selection and we will fall to 9th and lose the pick.

We are 2 games behind the Kings for the 7th spot and 4 games behind the Celtics for the 6th spot....but only .003 percentage points ahead of the Kyrie-less-Cavs for the 8th spot......so realistically we need the Cavs to figure out a way to win without Irving...who is out for 2 weeks.

I'm counting the Cavaliers to fall, that's why I'm rooting for the Kings and Celtics to rise

Thanks Knicks for all of the one on one play by Anthony & Felton that allowed Jack and the Cavs to get off in the last four minutes and pull out a W.

The 106-100 win by the Cavs gives us a full game lead in the 8th spot.

The Kings won too, so we are only .005 out of the 7th spot. :cheerlie-GOAL:

I don't guess anyone would be turribly so upset if we lost to the Jazz tomorrow??

Yes, Cleveland and Sacramento won. Now, the Pistons need to lose the head to head math-ups with the Cavs and they will at least have the 8th spot (and hope the lottery goes well).

I do not want the Pistons to lose this pick and get nothing out of this disappointing year as compensation.

The last few years of Piston Nation remind me of being a Lions fan. Hopefully they get the pick and right the ship. I'm no bandwagon fan, but it's time to see some progress.

Great Sunday, I came here to post about it, but I see you guys went ahead of me. It really gives me some kind of comfort to see that I'm not the only one checking on the other teams results to try to go down and get a pick!

If there is no pick then the end result of this season would be a disaster......

While this isn't much consolation, it probably can't get much worse than this. Any display of competency by the front office, coaches or players would be an immediate improvement.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not turning in my fan membership. I do think it's time for a pretty serious reset. I'm rooting for the draft pick as an opportunity to help fix the team. I think the team needs a culture overhaul. I'm not sure where to lay the blame, but with a few exceptions, I think this team really lacks heart. Maybe it started with Charlie and what's his name... but the lack of competitive fire seems like it hangs over the whole team.

Agree with that Linwood. Clean house and trade Monroe, Bynum and BJ if you can, let Billups, Stuckey, CV and Siva walk.

I've said before, but I really hate hoping the Pistons lose - that draft pick just adds one more asset that a new GM can use after cleaning house and hopefully push us back into the Playoffs.

That time has been around for a while.

I like Jennings but I really question his cultural fit here. He is super pouty. We need hard nosed guys.

Drummond is high character. I liked Knight because he was also high character. KCP looks good. Josh Smith goes between fighting and being lazy. Bynum fights hard. We need more guys who want to win, not just want to cash cheques.
