Seems as though New Jersey is still trying to shed money in order to gear up for 2010 LBJ Sweepstakes.

As I thought, Brook Lopez is not going anywhere. Basically, Devin Harris has 35 mil left on his contrtact. All NJ want is a 3rd tier PG.

Much as I like Will Bynum, I would have to say "don't Let The Door Hit You Where The Good Lord Split Ya" if it means getting Devin Harris thereby, scooting Stuckey to his more natural position of SG.

We would then need a backup PG, that should be relatively easy.

    Any thoughts?

If Pistons can manage some kind of sign-and-trade, which would be nearly impossible to accomplish as nobody is going to want to play for NJ. how do you propose to push it through salary-wise?

I would possibly take Harris to beef up the back end of the Pistons bench, but no way am I moving Hot Rod off the ball.

He'd be a great guy to have locked up for four more season. His contract isn't unreasonable - he doesn't get over nine for two more seasons. Give them Max and Bynum and eat the rest.

I would trade Stuckey for Devin Harris in less than a second

They want to shed salaries. Why would they want Tay?

Wasn't Devin Harris nearly an All Star last season?

Why would they be trying to trade a really good young PG? I understand making room for going after LBJ in 2010... but he's not going to want to go to a team where the supporting cast is WORSE...

If Harris continues to improve and actually becomes an All Star next season, that would give LBJ more incentive to want to play for the Nets. LBJ wants to win... he can get his money from anywhere.

You are joking right? Harris is light years ahead of Stuckey. Harris also can get to the basket at will and is much more in control of his game and not wild like Stuckey. Stuckey still has up side, but to get a young PG that has proven he can break ankles in the NBA is worth moving Stuckey aside to the 2 guard or to the bench as the back up.
