Optimistically that puts his return on the 21st against the Knicks or the 23rd against the 76s at home, the first or second game of a 4 game home stand.

    Blazers still 0-for-Wallace

PISTONS CORNER: With Billups' help, McDyess is ready to roll; 'Sheed shines at PG during practice

This Dice injury may be the "opportunity" Amir needs?

Seems weird though. Ever since Dice got that injury, he's been shooting the ball well.

If he get stand the pain and shoot this well, as well as rebound well (15 vs Seattle), he should just play on.

It is difficult to judge how difficult it is for a player to handle pain, especially since everyone's tolerance is different. Also, not knowing what it is could cause some permanent damage. Hopefully it is just a minor thing and will go away.

Dyess probably injured it taking all them shots in such a short period of time. More like arthritis.

Dyess's injury has something to do with ligaments. Prince is also ailing. He jammed his toe while playing for US team, but he says he should be OK to continue playing.

    It's his left shoulder though.

I'm a big Amir fanboy but he was certainly doing more harm than good with his defense vs Seattle.

But he still looked like the "big kid" on the playground a couple times.

He needs more first half PT.

This is the perfect time to cut Tay/Dice min and play Amir/Max/Afllalo (esp) more. The question is will Flip do it?

If it is a good idea, I am pretty sure that Mr. Sneaky will be against it.

I kind of like the idea of just giving players a game off every once in a while when they aren't injured. It works in baseball.

CB and Dyess's absences forced bench players to step up and take responsibility for the outcome of the game.

Every 5 games or so, just give a starter the day off.

With Dyess and Chauncey missing Pistons put up 30 assists. They put up 111 points but I'll attribute it to porous defense by Warriors.

I am not glad that Dyess got hurt, but if he fact he will be out for 4 weeks, hopefully it is shorter, then that should enable to AJ to get some serious burn.

Hopefully by the time Dyess returns AJ will have moved ahead of Nazr in the rotation.

    Pistons' comeback is Golden
