Another game on ESPN for those who do not get FSN.

Kobe will be playing as far as I know.

Wish I could go to this one, but I will out cruising to mexico. I will have to debut my Pistonsforum.com Tshirt at the Pistons-Mavs game in dallas next month. Hopefully they rebound from the terrible showing tonight and get revenge for the game they lost here last year.

That's a big loss not having Rip in the lineup. Lets see if Murray can step up and fill the whole.

Does this mean that Rip will actually dress be available for spot duty, or will Blaylock dress and get some minutes?

If Hamilton is thinking of not playing it must be pretty bad. Not good news right now.

Look guys if the Pistons are going to win a game on this trip it will be tonight. With Rip questionable it makes it worse.

The Lakers can score from all over the court, and our D has been missing. Rasheed has to play the game he brought in Utah and CB has to bring the game he had in Sac-town. If Detroit has the balance they can win, BUT I think they will come up against the wall again.

If Rip is out, Saunders has to replace almost 40 minutes on the first night of a back to back. Time for Flip to prove he can coach. Worst case scenario, Billups, Tay, and Flip play 40+ minutes. Then we get smoked tonight, and really smoked tomorrow.

Best case, Billups and Tay play the same minutes, Rip's minutes go to Murray, Delfino, and JMax. (and maybe even Blaylock). Have a feeling Flip goes with the worst case scenario.

Come on. Lakers after a Kobe surgery? Even on the road, we gotta be able to take care of these guys. If we can't, then we're looking like an 8 seed.

I'm ok with that. I'd rather eat one year rebuilding and getting the kids ready to go, mopping up with some sweet picks, and possibly making a coaching change than continuing the tease act of being a contender.

That said, I'm not going to throw in the towel on this season until they lose 40 games.

Yeah, when a sports team's forum builder throws in the towel, they are cooked.

Something has to change. At this point, I can't believe they'll flip a switch and suddenly start firing on all cylinders. At least last year, you could feel good about the efficiency of the offense and you had hope that the defense would be addressed.

Yeah, but what I am saying is that even if the Pistons don't have a championship season, if our expectations are reasonable, we can still get a LOT of enjoyment out of this.

Quite honestly, I am less concerned with why Nazr is so bad in +/- or why Tazr has gotten no PT than I am with seeing Maxiell absolute abuse some rims and defenders.

Remember when watching the regular season was fun? That's the place I have returned to. :)
