Your Darko rant on the Podshow is an all time classic bro.

Orlando gave him a shot, but dumped him pretty quick. Memphis is the other team that really got suckered by him.

I'm going to have to stick up for DMC. Is he a starter? Probably not, but I watched Memphis against the Knicks the other night, and even though the Knicks won by 30, Darko was probably the best big on Memphis that night.
Gasol can score, but his defense is erratic. Hakim is Maxiell without the power, and even worse D. Darko's O may have regressed, but he played good D, played hard even through GT, and was the only one whom seemed to know his rotations on the pick and roll.

Don't get me wrong, Darko's not worth 7mil and Gasol is a steal for the Grizzlies and better than Darko, but for a backup big in the NBA, there aren't a lot better choices. I'm pretty sure Joe would swap Kwame for Darko in a second.

I'll have to watch Gasol again. He seemed like a stiff compared to Pau. Maybe I caught him on a bad night.

16 & 10 for Pau, 12 & 8 for Marc. Not too shabby for ten games in the NBA. You can tell they're brothers on the turnover line. Both like to throw the ball to the other team with abandon.

Marc just looked a lot less agile and less skilled. But, you're right, his stats are good and even his FG% is high, so what's to hate?

It's a little strange that fans in Memphis have another Gasol to replace last year's Gasol.

Actually Marc has looked pretty good when I've seen him this year. He's been AGILE, a good scorer (with nifty moves) and he didn't back down when challenged. He didn't look intimidated by the NBA so far. Gotta love what he's shown.

As for Darko, I'm done as well, I'm off the wagon.

It was a bumby ride my friend.

Giving up the avatar is usually the last act.

Here's what Darko thinks of all this. :smoke06:

Who would have imagined the day that we ran out of subprime emotional financing to build the DHOF?
