We need to play better. The only guy who played really well was MM.

Tobias did as good a job as one can do on Dirk in ISO situations.

Hopefully the boys come out tonight appreciating the seriousness of their predicament.

If for some reason we miss the playoffs, I worry about finger pointing and such stuff. This is not an emotionally mature bunch.

No way during this shooting slump that Reggie and KCP are in that they should be taking as many "long distance" shots that they are taking. I saw RJ shoot 2 bricks where the hot Morris was wide open.

    RJ took 15 shots...MM took 16

Noticed that a lot of Barea's were after penetration thru the perimeter and then a short jumper about 10 feet out.

I saw that too with Morris is wide open and doesn't get the ball. KCP or Reggie force up a brick.

On the other hand Teen Wolf of the night JJ Barea keeps on shooting until he starts missing.

some feel more defense would've helped.
others think we need scoring off the bench
strangely when Meat gets us 9 and we win his defense wasn't good.
Then when the bench doesn't score -still- the defense wasn't good.
And now its the coaches fault. Because he put the wrong guys in.
All I know is when the 3 isn't falling take it to the hole, but then the defense collapse and there's no room to shoot.

If healthy, absolutely. Dinwiddie, at a minimum, plays solid D. And Joel defends, something both Blake and Baynes are incapable of.

You are being way too optimistic. Note, SVG kept Dre out even after the two minute mark.

I see a lot of knitpicking on our starters, but despite their faults, no way should Dallas have even competed against them, save for our bench starting out a combined minus 23 between the opening of their first half and 2nd half stints.

We can always get better. But its a case of what do you do first: Exactly, go after the low hanging fruit. Get replacements for Baynes and Blake.

RJ has made 25/25 of his last FTs. His FG% over that same stretch has been abysmal.

He should be driving to the hoop on every play until he regains his shot...When you are the best FT shooter on the team hitting over 86%, your main goal is to find a whay for your team to win with the best opportunity or highest percentage that you can and not shoot floaters from deep because it looks good. Those of us old enough saw Magic and Jordan milk a 4th quarter win out with multiple drives to the hoop and after awhile the refs gave it to them with a just a slight touch.

With 6 games left, and shooting 86% from the line, RJ has shot only 301 attempts and KCP @ 82% only 218...a total of 519. Too many outside jumpers and not enough drives or shots in the paint for our guards who along with some chicks,.... love the long ball.

In comparing them to our all star championship guards of yesteryear, Rip and Billups who combined to shoot over 88% from the line, shot 802 FT's in 03-04, 811 in 04-05 and 823 in 05-06.

Even the old school Pistons did it with Dantley going to the line 664 times in 1987 and 572 times in 1988 by himself. Yeah it can be argued that he had a thick body and was the master of the post up move, so you know he was going to get there, but even Zeke went to the charity stripe 521 times in 1987 and he and Dumars during the those championship seasons combined for 657 in the 88-89 and 697 in the 89-90 season.
