1st game against the Cavs who have gotten off to a pretty good start. They are 7-2 at this time. They look to pose a serious challenge to the Pistons Central Division title this year.

This is a home game right? We should beat them at home. AI goes for 28.

this year against the Cavs is going to be huge as hell, and IMO we will see them in May as well.

these guys are absolutely clicking right now.

One note to add: After watching them today, they are the class of the NBA. I caught a couple other of their games as well. That's a sick team, as long as Waly and Sasha don't get significant minutes (useless/can't defend).

The only guy that's going to stop them is Mike Brown.

This is the best Cavs team we have faced since LaBron joined them. If we have more than 50 points and a double digit lead at halftime, then I see a W, but a close tight one in the low forties at the half then it is anybodys game.

I think we have to shoot at least 47% to win too and the D has to play like they did at Staples, and no one should be looking ahead to the Celtics game.

Cavs are going to win the championship. We can only hope to compete.

Seriously, though this a really bady match-up. Ben can guard Sheed and LBJ can (when he wants to) check Tay. With Rip GRHing, and AI probably giving up as many as he scores to Mo Williams, it's going to be tough.

AA needs to be used early and often esp on "Boobie" Gibson

I am not willing to hand over the title to the Cavs just yet.

This game should show why some of us picked them for 2nd (or 3rd) in the division.

I think we can win this. With rest and practice, this can be a real opportunity to show some post-trade progress.

This will be AI's 2nd or 3rd home game?. We need him to energize the Palace crowd with something spectacular. Perhaps a couple of J-Max's slams and the crowd will stay into it.

Our crowd seems dead lately, even when we are winning!

DET has gone into these games lately with a "HUGE" advantage at the PG spot which mostly has led to the Pistons grinding their offense to a halt in order to feed Billups in the post. That won't be the case now and I am interested to see what they look like.

I want to see what Tay looks like on O also. Can he get inside if LeB is on him.

Is it me or does TGRH have 6-7 family issues a year?

it will be AIs 2nd game at home. crowd was actually pretty good for his 1st game, and they've been better overall this year than the past couple. i see a lot more fans wearing pistons gear and a lot fewer who are just there to be seen...probably because some struggling companies didn't renew their tickets, and also because the pistons are offering insane deals to see games for very cheap.

So far this year, SF has been our strongest position. We are ranked #1 in the league at the 3 spot. 1st on offense and 4th on defense (not surprisingly behind Hou, Mia, and Uta). This ranking includes our bench at that position as well, but is heavily weighted toward Tay b/c of his high playing time.

    At PG, we are 13th
    At SG, we are 11th
    At PF, we are 12th
    At C, we are 11th.

So, overall, pretty balanced... and mediocre, except for the combo of Tay/Herrmann/Afflalo/Rip at the 3 spot (Tay could be our MVP this year).

    NBA Team by Position stats

In terms of how much playing time our bench gets, there are 22 teams that play their bench more than us. Surprising actually, cause it seems like Curry is playing them. Maybe it has to do with the loss of CB and Dyess and our bench has gotten thinner.

The crowd needs to be into this one from tip off to the end. Even if it appears the boys are falling behind, don't let LaBron take them out of it. If Lee and Wart are going to the game , take your bull horns and keep the crowd alive. (Lee take your daughter too for good luck. :thumb:)

Im excited for the game, but Im not gonna be surprised by a loss. The Stones are still a work in progress. They havent had more than a handful of practices since the trade. I said when the trade occured, itll take 15-20 games to get on the same page. I would be surprised if the Cavs blew us out....but the Cavs are playing very well right now and we are struggling to find a rythm. This game will probably show the serious need for us to shore up the rebounding issues.
If Rip is anywhere near on with his shot? It will be a good game.

Currently unemployed. I can't even budget gas money to go see a game, even if I got free tickets. NBA League Pass is also something I am dearly missing at the moment. Guess I better hit the bricks a bit harder looking for a J. O. B.
