Why would you send our best pure PG to China?

Did you even watch Blake work his magic last night?

    13pts/6ast and a +1 against CLE's D League affiliate IS pretty magical

James Jones is an NBA player. Richard Jefferson is an NBA player. Mozgov is an NBA player.

Blake was awesome. Really solid performance stepping in for Reggie.

It was a meaningless game and neither he, nor Spencer, did much to stop a D-league hired gun for damn near going for 40. I'm not really concerned about it either way. All I want for Christmas is a real backup PG for next season.

I think I commented in chat that we revealed our card when we let Meeks got out there and hit 4 of his first 8 shots ...including the quick 3 buckets from deep. Still he probably rushed too many in the 4th so his % wasn't that good...but it gave the Cavs braintrust something to think about..with us having another weapon. I didn't notice his defense. ..but he was out there...probably winded...when the Cavs made their late run. His experience level over SJ and Bullseye, would be valuable as long as he is in shape...

I hope we retain Blake. He was great in his role this year considering the bench had almost zero talent and he missed part of training camp with the concussion protocol.

It is important to have veterans on the roster. You don't get much more veteran than OMB.

I don't think the Cavs braintrust is very worried about the Pistons.

Pistons looked good with both Blake and Baynes starting. Perhaps SVG should consider that for next season?

I think @Pwn Toney@Pwn Toney could get behind that.

If "behind that" you mean pick another team to root for, then ABSOLUTELY! :thumb[1]:

It's like having a Jameer Nelson that's actually not as good as Jameer Nelson. I'm all in for a 4th stint for Blake on the Blazers.

    I do too.
And I hope that he's playing 3rd string PG behind some NEW prodigy that we happily stumble upon in the 2016 draft.
...some out of nowhere kid who takes Reggie's job away from him.

He stepped right in to fill the huge leegap after Illy's departure.

Illy had some HUGE shoes to fill. I think Blake and Baynes are trying to combine to fill those shoes, but they are coming up short.

Yeah, then you can get your Blake fix while keeping your PF.com rep intact. I get it. :heh:

Jordan McRae shot 14-29. He wasn't all that impressive. Steve Blake was great. I think he could be a starter for a lot of teams.
