Can you imagine how Bucks fans felt? They land Greg Monroe, and then nada.
Been missing the forum, lately. LP is my only way to watch games. And, I like to watch almost all of them. Since LP doesn't show the games live. I keep ending up a couple days behind and put myself in media blackout. Every friend I meet up with I say something like, don't tell me about the [team] game; I'm still watching it. I am going to have to backtrack a bunch of threads when i have a chance. I wish we could have won a game or two. Not for posterity or whatever you call it. But, so we could not just learn how tough the playoffs are, but also, experience a bit of what it takes to win a playoff game. But, I just want to say i'm pretty happy with how we did. Reggie i think, was pretty good. I know it was only four games, but he averaged over 9 assists. So, that's something. Everyone still has every opportunity to get much better. Blaha tried to make us all feel better one game by talking about how many years it took Millsap to become a starter, and then to become an allstar. And, ya know? -was pretty good talk. I did fill a little better. I think KCP will keep improving a lot. I hope they all do, of course. Isn't it crazy how dependent we are upon this FT rule change. It is perhaps the difference between success and failure for this team through the period until Drummond departs/retires. Hopefully, rule change will make it easy for Drummond to overcome some of his issues with self-pity, etc. He has no reason to not be anything but totally confident if they change the rules.
Championships don't happen overnight. It took Jack McCloskey 10 years and 38 trades to get the Bad Boys a championship.
Perhaps it was just a simpler time/era, but I can't ever see the steps the Pistons had to take to win replicating themselves again. No way McCloskey and/or Daly wouldn't be canned after Zeke through the ball away against BOS.
Yea there are supposed to be a lot more crazy deals happening this summer. I am beyond trying to figure it out. We were all glad we did not overpay for Tobias Harris and we ended up trading for him anyway. Guess they know what they are doing. Then we have to get KCP reupped soon and I am sure that will be overinflated.
KCP aint costing us much, not until his shooting improves.
So I would assume that you are showing little faith in his initial contributions beyond expectations?
Well he could pull an Allan Houston At this point he is expendable to me. Suppose there will be pursuers he could fit someones niche.
We have KCP under contract for next season for only $3.6 million. We also have a $4.9 million option for him in 2017/18.
THX, and that's all he's worth. Until he proves otherwise.
Wow. So lucky you're not my boss!
As long as your Yahoo fantasy ranking was high, @roscoe36, you would be a fine employee for TFD!!
Do they trade or keep the pick (18)? I say keep and then decide on that movement. Movement being trade the pick and move on. Or develop that pick. Again, I favor this approach providing it is a 4-5 position and there are some very good rotation players at this spot. Brice may fall (not part of the current NBA Green Room invite) and then there is Diallo (no Green Room). Malachi Richardson may drop to us (in the Green Room) and you groom him for KCP's spot when the latter looks for the big contract. It looks like (typical SVG/Bower moves) some serious directions are already in place. Ahhh, to be that mouse.
This is great. Frank Caliendo reads LeBron's Instagram message....first as Al Pacino....then as Jon Gruden. View: https://youtu.be/fwODZILk50s
