In case anyone cares, with this loss to the Bulls, the Pistons made history: http://www.detroitbadboys.com/2012/1/10/2696858/detroit-pistons-losing-streak-history?ref=yahoo
One moment that stuck out for me was Kyle Korver guarding Ben Gordon...and shutting him down. That shouldn't happen.
That is a good point about Monroe. Even on the rare occasion when Gordon plays well (less than 10 times since he's been here) he still bums me out.
Which is why I'm taking it easy on BK. But I DO NOT LIKE HIS GAME! Didn't like him at Kentucky, don't like him Detroit. That said, he may get the last laugh on me the same way Greg did last year.
I don't think Knight has a game. Just a bunch of raw skills and potential. he was one and done at UK (38 games), and is 9 games into his pro career. Hopefully his game turns into a good one.
Whenever I read one of your posts about BK, I swear I glimpse at the date of the post just to make sure that I haven't read it already.
The got the Mavs and the Bucks up next....although they have losing records, they both have the capability to run up the score and hand the Pistons two more 16+ losses to extend that record.
What skills? He's not fast (like Rondo), he's not athletic (like Rose or Wall), he doesn't have a sick handle (like CP3), he's not a great shooter (like Curry), he's not an assist machine (like Calderon or even Rubio)......................somebody please tell me what he's good at? Because at Kentucky I NEVER saw it, all I've seen is a guy get hot from the perimeter in half a quarter of a basketball game against a bad team.
LOL! I know, I just really did not like that pick, I felt Joe should have traded the traded the pick in an effort to rid himself of a bad contract, however I have no proof that he didn't try and do that.
JJ can be given 10 years at power forward, and I would still not blame him for being a very poor power forward. Its the coaches decision not to play JJ at small forward - where he has had all his best games as a Piston. Next, somebody is choosing to play Ben Gordon, and to have Bynum on the team. Bad choices. And other players have to play along side them. And Dumars latest goof, bringing Wilkins on board. Find some decent players already. And the coach - should not be playing these guys in combos where nobody can score. Moves? Reverse the damage. Find a way to cut or otherwise part with Gordon, and have them take CV with them. Release Bynum and Wilkins. Tonight, if Stuckey still can't play, and Daye is still hurting: Start Knight, Tay, JJ, Ben Wallace, Monroe. Bench: Bynum spells Knight for 6 minutes total. Wilkins spells Tay for 12 minutes. JMAX plays backup small forward. Macklin spells both Ben Wallace and Monroe. This is still better than involving Gordon in the game.
