<serioso> I try to run this place so that no one is waiting on me, and everyone can do almost everything I do. So on these game threads, you guys are welcome to post pics, video, whatever you like. I started posting pics because I ran out of made up words to substitute for "bump". The novelty of posting "beep beep" or "zurp!" got old, real fast. These pics aren't trying to send any messages. They are usually intended to provide a sense of nostalgia, some context for the people who "get them". I agree this isn't my best work, but I think my pic in the Wiz game thread was brilliant. Truth is, most geniuses only produce a small amount of genius work among a lot of mediocre stuff. </serioso>
After a hiatus spent installing a new water heater, I return to watching Piston basketball. "...If only we face the facts, with both eyes open." - Nicolaus Copernicus
Kemba Walker is a complete piece of sh*t. That was blatant disregard for the health of a competitor. He doesn't need to be in the league.
Walker got fouled and stripped of the ball. He was falling over and his momentum just carried him into Knight. There was no malisciousness on that play.
Only caught bits and pieces of the game. Looks like Jose had another good night. I am completely sick of watching Jason Maxiell play. He's gotta go.
He wasn't fouled so hard that he was thrown through Knight. It looked to me like he was going after the loose ball, and didn't care that there were a pair of knees in the way. I don't really care if it was malicious or not. If you're texting while your driving, and there's an accident, it's really not an accident. You don't need to be on the road if you don't care about the people with which you share it. Same thing on the basketball court. Nobody cares whether or not you meant to undercut somebody. You're still getting punched in the face.
I am also completely done with Maxiell. He works hard, but he needs to be at the end of the bench or gone. Dre can't get back soon enough. I'm so sick of watching people take away Monroe's right side on the low block. They're GIVING him the drop step righty off the glass, and he simply refuses to take it. When he finally decides that he has to take it, he looks ridiculous, and it's usually too late. He's like Zoolander. The guy just doesn't know how to turn left. It's pathetic. I'm also sick of these chumps jumping out to quick leads, and then fading on the first counter punch. Had this been a good team, instead on the Bobcats, the Pistons would have blown another double digit lead. They need Dre back in the worst way.
