Well, he already was on a road trip with a suitcase and I'm pretty sure there are flights from Charlotte to Denver. I wonder if there is some league mandated must report within x hours rule.
From what i understand he went back to DET and is currently at his home. He did live here for 6 years. Might want to say good-bye to a few ppl.
(i) The player must report for such physical examination at the time designated by the Team (which shall be no later than the third business day following the execution of the Contract), and must, upon reporting, supply all information reasonably requested of him, provide complete and truthful answers to all questions posed to him, and submit to all examinations and tests requested of him. The determination of whether the player has passed the physical examination shall be made by the Team in its sole discretion. If the player does not pass the physical examination, the Team shall so notify the player no later than the sixth business day following the execution of the Contract. He has to report for the physical within 72 hours of the paperwork being executed, but I didn't find anything about how long that could take. All right, he can have a couple of days. AI can't wear Billups jock because it is probably too small. I think Billups ____ shriveled up and fell off during the playoffs last year...Yep..that's the way I see it...lol
Sheed and AI are tight, buddies. They do that Philly basketball camp thing together. Haven't you all seen the chemistry between AI and Sheed when AI comes to town? Rip is in on that too.
I think the team gets to determine the criteria for passing the physical. In this case, I suspect showing up will get it done.
I guess I not really implying that I think they aren't cool with each other. Maybe i'm just taking Sheed's little interview too seriously. I'm just not a fan of how it was handled publicly, the "yeah, yeah, this might be good or it might not," or the "what we had was now gone" from Prince. Sure its gone; our PG was traded, and its not going to be smooth at first.
