I forgot to answer your question. There was a contractual agreement between BYU and the bowl organizers that was made before the season a year or two ago. If BYU is bowl-eligible and not invited to a BCS bowl (hardy har), then they go to the Kraft bowl. I wasn't thrilled with it because I did think BYU might be able to do better, but I understand their reasoning. They aren't in a conference anymore so they don't have any bowl partners, so they wanted to create some security for themselves. Life as a football independent is interesting.

Ok I understand c j . Makes total sense but backfires this year at least. How's the independence thing working out overall?

Lol. I like it. I think I rejuvenated it more than once. I always thought of Jeremy when I heard of BYU because I was aware of his interest so now when they do something good like beat boise or make a tournament I can discuss it here without hijacking the michigan threads... Although that wouldn't be too far off topic either.

You should start a thread for Rufus. Would be hilarious.

BYU 7.5 point underdogs to Wisconsin. We shall see how BYU stacks up against the big boys from the Big Ten. It doesn't really affect Sparty but Go BYU.

C.J. How do u think your team will do?

Nemo will give you a long explanation, which if carefully dissected, you'll find he predicts a BYU victory AND a Wisconsin victory and also BOTH teams losing as well. At the same time, he will try to hex Michigan State while also insulting them with what appears to be a compliment. Then he remarkably will squeeze in a statement about how great Michigan USED to be back when dinosaurs roamed the Earth.

In essence.. I don't blame you for waiting to hear from nemo. He is a very skilled prognosticator!! :caked:

Have you looked at my trade proposal in Keeper league yet?
I'll snag Jimmer off the waiver wire and throw him in the deal if you want.

Nice of you to call. They're playing at Camp Randall Stadium which is very favorable for the home team.
Both teams are 6-2 but Wisconsin has been in every game this season.
I'd stay away from BYU and the points this week.

    Thanks Nemo.

I'll take BYU for this game.
