Pretty funny line by the Brooklyn announcer-

After showing Jerry Seinfeld in the first row and then the game winning shot, he exclaimed

"that was real and it was spectacular!"

Not sure Greg Anthony got the reference judging by his reaction.

Re: the game winner... that's pretty much the shot that you want to force the other team to take. He made a nice move to get some space from Tay, but still had to hit a fading 3-pointer. They had enough time to create an isolaytion for him, so there wasn't much more the team could do to stop it.

Pistons got 15 seconds of highlights on ESPN during the Grizzlie-Nuggets halftime show....unfortunately most of it was Joe J's game winning shot over Tay...I am sure if the network is short of top ten highlights tonight they will squeeze in that GW jumper......but only after fall all over themselves covering and devoting 15 minutes to the Laker win over the ...Washington Generals Wizards.

Ill stay out of chat and refrain from posting about the ineptitude of the coach. Ill leave you guys to complain about how the players are responsible for every loss and there is nothing that can be done so we should just accept it. l8r

“Not even a stop away – a rebound away, both overtimes,” Frank said. “It was a six-point game with a minute and change. Our guys competed their tails off after being down going into the third quarter, fighting back, holding them to a 14-point quarter … and then, really, one rebound away or one finishing play away from winning the game. We just came up short. They had the last word.” even the coach knows it was a rebound away from victory....arghhhhhh

Missed the first half of this one. I understand not starting Andre. I understand pulling him when he's not playing well. But when Max has 2 boards in 1000000000 minutes, I think it'd be a good time to try something else. Just a thought. There's a highlight floating around of that last play of regulation showing Max unable to reach the ball in the process of giving up the offensive board + score - someone needs to sneak a pic of that one into coach's fruit loops or something.

Joe Johnson does strikes again. :shout:

I know Rodney White was touted as the next MJ but I still think we should have picked Joe Johnson.

Nice to see Maggette get some minutes last night.

Yeah the ball didn't bounce off the refs head into the basket for double points but bounced off the rim and the refs took it away. My crystal ball must be broke.

The rotation needs a little tweaking. I'm not big into coming up with rotations but the entire team is made up of replaceable parts. It past due for a change. Tomorrow i hope to see Slava and Jerebko

2nd OT when everyone was tired and 2 of the Nets front court guys fouled out - how huge would the advantage be to bring in a fresh Drummond? He would have tore up their tired depleted front court. Instead leave Maxiel in an continue to watch rebounds sail over his head.

I am still not sold on letting Frank go. However, game like last night makes me wonder if a head coach who played a little in the NBA would have realized how tired his starters were getting. Joe on the other hand really needs to go in order for this team to move on. And before he trades anymore of our prime 1st round picks away to undo his mistakes. Do you really trust him to find the right FA's now?

All I can say is it's another lottery loss. Everybody could see that Max was deadon his feet at the end but since we will be making the playoffs next season we might as well bite the bullet this year and get into the lottery one more time before we have to give up the first round draft.

I watched those guys on league pass too and thought they were pretty good - not particularly biased, funny, decent knowledge. I'd be happy to listen to them again.
