According to Vincent Goodwill Knight and Cheeks spent all of game 1 in the Summer L talking in the stands.

A 21 year old can't legally drink for sufficiently low values of 21.

This stuff should not be ignored.
I think that Coach Mo will do BK some good.

Let's hope so. Experience and knowledge of the position only go so far, and won't mean nearly enough if Mo can't put him in positions to maximize his talents. And if Knight doesn't actually have the wherewithal to play the position at a starter level.

I don't mind betting big on the kids, but you have to know when to walk away.... and when he reupped Stuckey at 8million a year he had gone to far...

In what way is joe betting "BIG" on Brandon Knight?
The dude's on a rookie contract splitting PG responsibilities with everyone but Mike Abdenour.

If he stinks up the joint this year, Joe can sign someone else.
I don't see ANY similarities between Knight & Stuckey's situations unless Joe decides to trade Monroe to the Clippers for Lamar Odom in order to pave the way for Brandon Knight to become the Pistons' starting Power Forward.

He passed on Burke, CJ, MCW, Jjack and didn't attempt to trade for Vasquez. He's betting that this kid can get it done.

Joe took what he thought was the BPA over Burke, CJ & MCW. - NOBODY knows if he was right as of yet.

You can get a 'Jack' or a 'Vasquez' pretty darn easily in today's NBA.
"Average" PGs aren't as hard to find as they used to be.

*for the record, Greivis Vasquez was a dude that I was hoping Joe would get.
...Jeff Teague is another guy but he's a restricted FA and ATL would likely match any "intelligent" offer.
