I posted in the Oct 14th game thread that "they" are calling Maxiell the Brahma Bull, meaning that Greg Kelser mentioned it during the game, and George Blaha after the game.

Anyway, I just re-listened to Kelser, and he says "Sitting next to Rasheed, new mentor, calls him "the Brahma Bull", you only have to watch him play a little bit to know why"

And then George makes a chessy joke about Rasheed watching the rodeo.

Anyway, this is kinda cool because...

either SOMEBODY is reading around here, or our reach is increasing to where what we come up with, seems to get spread around.

    That's, really cool.

I'm pretty sure that one of linwood or Merc came up with Brahma in game chat early last season, and through regular use became a part of our forum vernacular, earning a highlighted definition over the summer.

The Low hand delivered a PF.com shirt to JMax at the Vegas Summer League, unfortunately, I didn't put Brahma on it, worried that the nickname may be lost on him, or he may not appreciate it, sticking with the safer JMax.

Next year he'll get a Brahma shirt. Maybe Sheed too.

That's ironic because I almost started a thread yesterday asking people if they thought any Pistons, coaches, or beat writers read the stuff in here either occassionally or regularly. Way way cool.

But anyhow, do you guys think they do? Wouldn't it be cool if something in here actually influenced a coaching decision.

If people in the organization do read this forum, I think many of our members will be off the Saunder's family christmas Card list this year. :)

Lilweez, where did they start calling him that?

If it's ever been mentioned before, I missed it.

I did a Google search and everything led me right back to this forum. There was something related to "Brahma" and "Palace Prince" but it kept coming up empty/error.

So like you, I am also curious to see where Lilweez got their info.

    Right.

That should tell us something right there. Until I see contrary proof, I'll go with the facts available. Seeing is believing.
