I agree that Frank is doing a nice job. It is just the little things like Ben not checking in until there were 10 mins left in the 2nd Q last night after playing hard the night before or Daye not playing at all (I think) that I like. Pierce was moving like he was made of cement, but the Pistons were really pressuring the C's in the 4th. Tommy Heinsohn said that Monroe "looked heavy to him and that he was 10 lbs from being grossly out of shape." I don't pay any mind to the last part, but do wonder about the heavy part because I noticed the night before how much thinner/leaner Duncan looked standing next to him.I know we can't all be the same, it was just interesting because the C's announcers were really complimentary towards him in general. Monroe has seen to be able to play heavy minutes without issue so far. I had a dream last night that the Pistons were up 46-10 on the Mavs in the 1st Q in what I believed to be this Sunday's game. Didn't the C's seems to have as many young guys playing and/or contributing as DET despite being a vastly superior team recently? What exactly do the Pistons look for scouting wise when they look at players?
so do i get credit for getting the game right? i thought we'd get smoked in the first game and because of a let down and two games that close together we'd win sundays... but since you all messed it up thread wise... I claim this as a victory!!!!!
Nice game. It was good to see Monroe bounce back. Do the Celts have anyone we'd want? Surely they would take Bengo in a flash.
Monroe seems to know how to drop 20 on nightly basis, sometimes he makes thegame look easy, once that jump shot gets more consistent he'll be a 20ppg scorer. When Greg gets help from ANYBODY this team can compete with the bulk of the league, the elite teams still own us, last night Moose got help from Bengo and Stuckey (they earned their paychecks last night) and truthfully there's no reason why they shouldn't play that well on a nightly basis. Good to see Stuckey play 2 good games in a row against tough competition. Brandon Knight should be leading the Wildcats to the final 4 this year.
Pistons now picking 6th in the draft......... 5-2 in the last 7 games.......... We're headed to an 11th pick....another combo guard.
I always enjoy listening to Heinson have to announce through a Celtics loss. When his straight man asked him what he thought Ben Wallace's chances of making the Hall of Fame was, Heinson really annoyed. He wouldn't even really answer the question.
To the administrators of this forum. Please let me know the proper way to report a post. For now, I will tell you that I am deeply offended, and very hurt, by this post.
I don't see it either. Perhaps linwood is the only one that has the privilege. This is an outrage. How can I report this?
