As the Pistons struggle with who will start ballgames the Celtics just keep winning, with stellar defense. Boston is at or near the top of every defensive catagory is not good news for Detroit. The PIstons will need to play mistake free to win this one.

The celtics are dismantling the same team that embarrassed us on Friday and doing it by 30 with ease.....yeah we will have to play a perfect game against them for sure to win let alone stay close......:ohwell:

if we won this game this could be just the type of win to get us really going...But if i were a betting man I would bet on us getting blowout...

Well we've beaten Cleveland, LA, Orlando, and San Antonio even though we have played poorly this year. There's one positive. I hope we win a game like this. Something needs to rejuvenate us.

I dont want to see bos/cle games: opponents starters laughing heartily during their lopsided win at 4th q would be too painful to watch....

I don't think this game (or any other) will get us going this season. I mean, anywhere other than where we are going, which is probably 5th or 6th seed (though maybe 4th).

But I sure hope everybody manages to put together their best effort. It's possible even, remotely, that we could beat them. But I think I'd be quite content with a moral victory. My last choice we would be a horrible, but hilarious loss.

When I said get us going I was basically talking about securing the 4th seed....there's no way we'll get any seed higher than that...

Will this be another start for Kwame?? Hope he plays better then last game. We really need to squeeze in at least 5 minutes a game for him. I think it will pay off in the long run to keep him in the rotation. Give him 5 of Sheeds minutes each game when the match ups allow for it.

With 3 guys splitting the guard minutes (AI, Stuck and Rip) and 5 guys splitting the PF/C minutes (Sheed, Amir, Max, Dice and Kwame) we should be able to start to string together some victories. My worry is at the 3. Sure would like to see Tay's minutes come down and wish that Curry would give AA more burn. I think he can be serviceable at the 3.

Whether he starts or not he has to play. I'm really not in the mood to see Perkins get 20 rebounds.

Max/Davis should be interesting at least.

Will AJ get another chance at KG? They only way he is going to learn is get on the floor. It's not like we have anybody with post moves that he can work against in practice. :stirthepot:

Now KG schooled Amir, that I will admit.

As far as Nowitzki, I'm not convinced that he has Amir's number, but that he gets locked down by Fabio.

LOL. To be honest i don't think he did that bad, He certainly wasn't doing any worse than all our other bigs in that game.
Dirk is a strange one. He'll own guys his size, and get shut down by the Stephen Jacksons.

If Scalabrine returns from his concussion that makes him an ideal canidate to bury DET. House might go for 100 in 20 minutes if you could hit 100 by only hitting 3's. Will Tony Allen or Mike Jordan come off the bench for the C's?

Possibly no Rip for this one. After that and reading the posts about the (lack) pick and roll, i'm scared.
