Without a quick PG who can penetrate into the lane, Okafor may have a good game but not a monster game. Sheed will take care of him. Hopefully, the team continue to play hard like the past few games and not sit back and relax after the heavy dinner the night before. 5 in a row??? LET'S GO TO WORK, BABY!!!
Its also Bobble head night. I think we are getting a McDyess for those attending and getting there early enough. No excuse not to be 8-5 after this one.
I don't believe so Dlev. Everything I have read indicates he will be inactive. "brevin knight" - Google News
Pistons win there 5th straight with a 104-95 victory. Rip scored 26 and Prince had 21 points in the win.
How about that nice little run with Delfino in there? That was nice, he provided some nice energy off the bench. The main four were awesome and Nazr wasn't to bad himself.
Pistons' defense wasn't too great tonight, but they made a big run in the 4th to put it away. Delfino scored 6 during a 13-3 stretch for the Pistons, and he played the entire 4th quarter!
I am glad i read about Fino's contribution. I am also glad not a lot of people are complaining about the low number of minutes played by the bench. Another thing, I saw the stats for Chicago's game yesterday. Ben's contribution was one assist for the whole game. One assist. no rebound, no scoring. one assist and two fouls. I love Ben, I am afraid he does not belong to the right team.
I agree, it is good to see Delfino in there and attacking and running on fast breaks. I feel for Ben, Detroit was his home. I don't think he'll ever play as good as he played here. The Sixers scored 126 points tonight against the Bulls, I think it was 126, that is pretty sad.
I'm suprised not much has been written about this victory. Pistons looked pretty average defensively, but we looked very efficient on offense. Nazr, Sheed and Dice are really picking up the rebounding. I'm also seeing a trend of the starting 5 playing more balanced basketball. Rip's assists are up. During this streak you have to give the starters credit for expanding their games to make up for their defenciencies on the defensive end. We don't make alot of mistakes with the ball in our hands. Very efficient possessions.
I gotta admit...Delfino looked pretty good in the 4th. He ran the floor well and bothered Morrison. I'd like to see more of this from him on a consistent basis...you listening Flip?
'Team, I'm gunna post Flip's comments shortly. FYI, Bernie Bickerstaff said in his postgamer that their game plan was to "take it to the hole..." It looks like the Pistons will be tested in this regard everynight.
