This guy is full of it. Just trash. I love the part where he says that Bill leaving reminds everyone of the last time he left his team, then has to explain to everyone what he means because nobody really remembers it. :pound:

I'm not sure if Laimbeer is ready to take a team to the NBA Finals yet, but by no means do I believe that no NBA team will hire him. He hasn't got an assistant coaching job in past years because he made it clear that he wasn't interested in anything but a head coaching position. At least that's how I remember it. This guy needs to remember he is a news writer, not a history (re)writer.

Had Michael Curry ever coached men before he got the job? Had he ever coached women, children, animals, or anything?

Kind of an article that I wouldn't think a Detroit columnist would write.

Man, this made the odd of Laimbeer coaching the Wolves next season more and more likely doesn't it? The odd of Laimbeer landing an NBA coaching job this coming season is not if but when and where. I say good for him and bad for anyone that's playing against his team. :nerd2:

He did coach fish in the little known ABL (Aquarium Basketball League).

I would actually rather have that fish coach our team next year.

Sam Mitchell is a well dressed man...and I heard he still has his cold weather gear from his Toronto gig. The stars are aligning for the T-Wolves.

I see the Palace smear machine lead by Michael Rosenberg is in full effect.

Looks like Rosenberg threw Laimbeer under the bus here...I guess Bill didn't grant Rosey any interviews back in the day, and Bill surely shouldn't talk to him now other shoving his fist in his mouth!

I think the Pistons should make a run at Kevin McHale pronto! He could coach or play PF.

Pretty friggen sad. Acting like a jilted school girl.

They should be glad he stayed as long as he did.

Ernie, once again you may have hit on a genius idea.

The fact that he once fired Flip Saunders qualifies him to be coach.

He's have to be a cherry picker as a pf though. There's no offsides in basketball. He could just stay around the hoop.

I think the ABL is quite the under-rated league. I got the ABL season package with my HD satellite package last year. Man, these fish can play. The goldfish are especially tough. They are always taking opponents to school.
