Ben was made tradeable from his wonderful contract, which was front loaded. Bulls knew what hey were doing...pulling the heart and soul of the Detroit Pistons.

Good trade for both, Chicago dumps high salaries; Cleveland gets Big Ben and Joe Smith to help for a year.

Chicago did not dump high salaries.

Hughes is getting $13M next year and $14M the year after that. I would guess that they are looking at him as a long term solution and figure that they won't be able to sign Deng and Gordon next year. ??

Also, Joe Smith's $5M salary was expiring and instead, they have Gooden signed on at $7M for next year too. They also picked up Simmons' $2M for next year.

So now we can start beating the Bulls and losing to the Cavs. Just great.

As Pass99 mentioned, it might be time for some people to find religion. :)
