I think the future of the Pistons can be summed up with the following letters and what they represent: Brandon Knight. Let's face it folks the future of our team depends a lot on how this kid develops. Good thing we still don't employ Larry Brown as a coach. The kid would only see playing time in the last few minutes of blowout losses and if he ever broke his hand he would just have to play through it. Dumars. Will Joe stay or will he go? That's the big question Mr. Gores will have to deal with. Salary Cap. It will be a while before we can get rid of cap killers BG and CV. Monroe. Along with Brandon Knight his development is critical to the future of this team.

I would say the only real good thing about this season is that this could finally be hitting rock bottom. 2-7 with all 7 losses as blowouts we may be looking at something along the lines of the 92-93 season were they won 13 games and picked G.Hill 3rd in the draft. Just saying - it could happen and its supposed to be a pretty strong draft. Or maybe they will surprise us all and bounce back some.

A lot of C and PF's in this years draft. Anthony Davis, Andre Drummond, Jared Sullinger, Perry Jones. I think anyone of those 4 can make this a better team.
Rumor has it Drummond might stay in school another year. If the Pistons keep losing like they have been they might actually have a shot at Davis.
The Pistons will scout the Illinois-Ohio State game tonight at Champaign. OSU power forward Jared Sullinger and Illinois center Meyers Leonard are considered lottery picks.
I'm sure that Charles Nelson Villanueva will figure out a way to get hot in some meaningless games at the end of the season and knock us down a few lottery spots.
