Home opener. Sunday night game at the Palace against Joe Smith, Al Horford (3rd pick), Josh Smith and the Atlanta Hawks. tv: FSDHD. I do not know what this means or what channel it is?
They will have quit a few of them on HD. Means if you don't have an HD tv then you will see a black screen. All of them are home games for some reason.
Hawks will come in to this game with some confidence after getting a big win at home over Dallas tonight.
They controlled that game from start to finish and oh by the way, they were undefeated in the pre-season too...not that it means anything. So lets play them tough as a pretender and not as an also ran scrub like Dallas did.

Are we going to start having the game preview posts at the beginning of the individual game threads again, where we get to see lineup pics, team stats, etc. I always loved that from past seasons. I don't know who was doing it, but I think a lot of people would appreciate it.

I was doing it, and it was doable because I had more free time in the past. I'll try to do it when I can.
1. Atlanta is more talented than both Orlando and Miami. They are however very young. 2. As I recall we had a better record last year on the road than at home. This could be a very tough game, though with the Hawks having mostly young players I would be very surprised if we didn't win. I would love to see an AJ - Horford matchup but it probably won't happen today except for a few minutes at the most. But there will plenty of opportunities to see these two go at one another in the future. Their top minutes guys so far Joe Johnson is 26 Josh Smith is 21 Marvin Williams is 21 Tyronn Lee is 30 Al Horford is 21 Sheldon Williams is 23 So there top six average out to 23.7 in age. Pretty young to say the least.
FSN Detroit has 2 stations on Directv now. One regular and one hi def. They wil be showing the same program, just like TNT and TNTHD, or Cartoon Network and Cartoon Network HD. If not, then i will tell you how the game was.
League Pass games are almost all standard-def anyway. There are occasionally some NBA TV high-def broadcasts, but I'm not sure where those are shown anymore. I used to get them in HD on the INHD channel, but that network changed it name to MOJO, and I'm not sure they carry all those games anymore.
Don't let last year discourage you D4E. Depending on who you get league pass from the majority of your games will be HD.
Atlanta's uniforms are uuuuuuugly. Whoever designed Charlotte's logo and uniforms must've done the same for Atlanta.
How does that work? I get LP through my local digital cable system, and all the LP channels are standard-def. Do you have a package where you get HD League Pass channels?
