Atlanta, Orlando, and Miami all battling for first place in the division....
......With Charlotte and Whizards 10 or more games back.

    A Division of have's and have not's........

I'd play Stackhouse 38 minutes against us........just for old times sake.

Atlanta comes to Detroit and gets a battle, but still wins...........

    Atlanta by 5 points...........

It's a Friday night, so there should be several hundred people at this game.
If T-Mac thought things were funny LAST year, wait til he gets a look at THIS year's squad!

Morris Day performing at haltime should be the biggest highlight of this game.

Next Friday's game will feature Vanilla Ice at halftime......ice, ice, baby.....

Man does it feel like forever ago when Stackhouse was a Piston. I also can't believe that Grant Hill continues to be start in the NBA. After all those injuries, it seemed like he'd go out like Yao Ming. Now they are a distant memory.

Yeah, he's V-Ice now. See what he did there?

I remember talking about Stack losing his first step on a balcony in Detroit on the fourth of July, 2003. Props to Jerry and his longevity.

Next Friday is 90's night. I can't say I ever heard of one of those. This might be the Platinum Equity boys breakout move.

How do you dress for a 90's night, do you wear Grunge gear? Vanilla Ice doesn't really go with that though.

I never liked Vanilla Ice, but he can probably dominate CV in a 1-0n-1 game.

I doubt Vanilla Ice could tweet with 50% of the production of CV.

Here's the question of the week... the Pistons have played two very competitive games against the Heat and the Hawks... how much of an impact do each of the following possible causes have on these results:

    1) Ennui (boredom) on the part of the opponents
    2) Pistons actually improving (Stuckey returning, learning the system, etc.)
    3) Prince and Gordon not playing

One could make a case for all three, but there seems to be a significant difference in the energy and hustle between before Tay and Gordon went out and now.

I was watching the game and was thinking how cool it was to be hearing the Detroit Basketball taunt (even by the 2000 people in the stands) then they find a way to lose. Gotta keep an eye on the prize. I really like it that Tay isn't out there to clog up the movement. How sad is that?

Our starting forwards were outscored 41-2. That's 50 minutes of nothing. It's tough to win when that happens.

Knight continues to improve by the minute.

We need more good players. I like the guys who we have in their respective roles. We just need more of them. We're simply outgunned most nights.

Well what can we say, second straight game where a good team would have held on to a victory and a team coached by Larry Tank Frank loses...
Six point lead with 1:47 left in the game and we find another way to lose this one..giving a three ball to Marvin Williams as Max was looking for someone from the bench to check him......but no one came off the bench and tripped him as the Pistons players on the floor did not get back off a made basket by Daye.

Pistons at that point had a probable season low 10 turnovers, but Stuckey commits the TO of the game passing to Monroe, when he probably should have and would have taken the shot last season.....yes there is to much passing this season. Anyway, the Hawks get the ball and the other JJ shoots a three over that same guy named Stuckey to tie the game. Yep the other JJ aka the Joe Johnson on my fantasy team scores 28 of his 30 pts after halftime and then Marvin Williams who averages about 9 pts a game burns us with 3 treys in crunch time and OT.

Second game in a row that one of our scrubs has a breakout game (this time JMAX) and the Pistons blow a lead and eventually the game with less than a minute to go.

Oh by the way, the Pistons finally top 100 for the first time this season but only after going into OT and on the strength of three late three pointers that were to late to make a difference in the final score.

The only team feeling worst than the Pistons players and fans this week are the Magic who lost three games this week scoring only 20, 25 and 33 points in the second half. Maybe we should trade Daye, CV, Bynum and Wilkens for DHoward??
