Detroit Pistons at San Antonio Spurs Wednesday March 9 8:30 pm Local TV: FS Detroit Nat'l TV: Radio: WWJ 950 AM Chat is open!!!! http://www.pistonsforum.com/playoff-chat/
At least we found next seasons slogan....... Spurs' Antonio McDyess on topic of Pistons' Richard Hamilton: 'It's bad times up there' | MLive.com
I have to agree with Dice there: to leak your conspiracy plans to media is really unprofessional: a failed rebel proves it.
Spurs up 40-26 after the 1st on 81% shooting. They hit 14/14 to start the game. Blowout in the works.
No cooling off for the Spurs as they are at 80% FOR THE HALF and they lead the Pistons 67-52. Where's the DEEF? TMac is back, but it has not helped.....
TMac is looking really good running the show right now. Smart move by Kuester to get him back on the court.
A nice couple of comebacks by the Pistons, but they got Tony Parkerred tonight.. Dude sliced through the Pistons defense at will with floaters, scoop shots, off the high glass runners....and then hit that three to finally close the door on them.. Oh yeah he had 7 assists and 4 steals to torment our guys too... The spurs cooled down from their 80% first half shooting to finished the game only shooting 64.3%... T Mac and Rip lead the charge back in the second half and finished with good stats, but that 9-2 Parker led run at the end of the third was just to much to make a real comeback on even though they almost did it again in the 4th.
Yes I can, the gave a 75% effort because that 1st qtr was BRUTAL! Fun game, after a while I stopped being pissed about our team and just started appreciating how great the Spurs looked, Manu and Parker are fun to watch when they are going. It was fun to see the fellas fight back, especially the vets, shows that when it's all said and done they still have some pride after all. I keep watching guys like Anthony Marrow & Gary Neal and think, Man we're paying a crapload of money for Ben Gordon to do what they seem to do for a tiny fraction of the cost. I must confess, as I watch Tim Duncan, I see a little Greg Monroe. That says a lot about Monroe, but even more about Timmy. GM looks like TODAY'S Duncan, who is still a darn good basketball player. Greg should be watching footage on Timmy all day and night! So, lemme get this straight, Bynum is the new T-Mac, who was the new Rip, and now Stuckey is the new Bynum???????
Very classy move Greg Poppovich to start Dice in his 1000th career game against the team that revive his career. Good classy management. If only the Pistons can do the same instead creating chaos every single week.
Totally classless and clueless move by Kuester to "reward" Stuckey's outstanding play by plunking him on the bench in favor of a guy who has ABSOLUTELY NO FUTURE - NONE - with this team. This is about as stupid as it gets. Kuester has no business being the head coach of an NBA team.
The Spurs show you have to have a mix of veteran experience and youth but also a coach that has some idea on how to use it. I will be the first to say that I am not sad the Will was dropped from the rotation. Not a fan. Wouldn't mind seeing Max join him but with JJ out; we are thin on bigs. When Monroe leaves the game there is a serious drop off. I give up on trying to figure out what in the heck this coach is doing from game to game. Are they drawing straws in the locker room to determine who starts and plays? I thought the switch of T-Mac into the starting line up was a good move to pair him up with Gordon. Then bring Stuckey and Rip off the bench as a pair. Problem was this didn't happen. I just give up on this coach and I can't believe that anyone here can have any faith left in him.
I think there is so much going on behind the scenes right now that the casual Internet fan is missing. Everyone grumbled at Kuester for benching Hamilton and then it came out weeks later that Hamilton had a profanity-laced, public tirade in practice against Kuester. Who knows what else is going on that we aren't seeing?
