So far I don't have a pm from anyone telling me what my avatar and sig should now read. I wonder...would a Flip Sanders for U of Minnnesota coach signature be considered "Pro-Flip"? Until linwood or d4e gives me my marching orders on this, I guess I'll have to use that to stick to the letter of the law. A bet is a bet.
heading to game now....hopefully a big win for the Pistons, but I heard that Sheed will be sitting out via over tech rule. Is that true?
Howard is going to get 30&15 against Webber again regardless of what happens, and it will have a minimal impact on whether or not the Magic win the game. If Darko (or Hill or Nelson or Turkoglu or Dooling) can make an impact in addition to Howard's impressive but non-dominant 30&15, then we have to worry.
I have been down in the workshop with the powertools and chemistry set crafting a new Avatar for TheLow. The creature still has a way to go, but I should be able to unleash it after the next big lightning storm (or a couple of days, whichever comes first).
I think I was the only member of the Mo Evans HOF. Maybe TaS and Himat were minor members. ----------- Ice Pick your a sick demented person. Let me know if I can sell you a fresh unbruised brain.
It always cracks me listening to the other team's announcers blame the inability to score points in the 4th quarter on sluggish offensive play instead of Detroit going into lockdown mode. The Pistons struggled in this game but showed they are the class of the East when it matters -- down the stretch of the game. I just keep loving Carlos Delfino's game, if that boy could ever learn to score some points he might be giving Tay a run for his money as the starting SF. Carlos got 3 steals tonight and he was disrupting a few plays where he didn't get a stat sheet credit. Rip and Chauncey keep doing what they do best, control the tempo of the game and put points on the board. I'm a little disappointed that Maxiell is not getting any burn, whassup with that? Dale Davis is great in spurts but he's not going to be an energy burst off the bench. I'm probably the most happiest that Orlando is going down, down, down and our 1st round pick from them is starting to look very good.
To be fair, he did only play 66 minutes the past 2 games. That's like.... barely more than an hour. You just wait until he starts getting 66 minutes a GAME. THEN you'll be sorry. You'll ALL be sorry.
It's pretty sad. I thought he would do better in this game. He just doesn't seem to have the mental (or physical) toughness to play on this level. He had two chances to show some pride, but he choked. Both times. He'll probably have a really nice game against Milwaukee or something next week. Big deal. Hey, kudos to Jackattack for sticking it out. I'm not sure there were any other DHOF's even in there, but maybe I missed someone.
The Darko fans did not show except Jackattaq who saw his "Darko Expert" title dreams disappear. Folks, the kid may be the most amazing thing in 2 years, but right now, he's just another 4th year big man. It is absolutely mind-boggling how he shows on the pick and roll with his arms outstretched sideways. I can't believe no one has coached him out of that. He picks up a lot of ticky tack fouls that way.
