me too. This could be one of those annoying games where Darko haunts us. We don't have the size to match up well against big centers. It would be the height of irony (and vomit-y) if Darko turns out to be the guy we really needed to man the center position. We'll see. Betting on Darko being good has almost always been a big-time speculative bet.
Bynum is not in Lee's rotation at all! Sounds as if Daye is playing strong to start, guys really getting in the passing lanes too!
About 3 minutes in - Daye has 10 points. Monroe 2 assists. There just is no chance that Daye's getting lost in shuffle unless he just starts playing really bad. He's been too outstanding to not have earned major playing time. What position? I've got no idea - but he's going to see time at the 1, 2, 3 & 4 this season - mostly the 2,3&4.

Why did you say Monroe's lack of athleticism is a problem. He's sounding really good tonight. He has 2 credited assists, but Daye sounds like he blew a layup costing him the 3rd assist. Daye with 12 points. 6:40 into the 1st period.
When you see him play, you'll understand, he's having trouble finishing because he has no explosiveness off the floor.
