L. Deng 12. Q. Richardson 13. C. Douglas Roberts So, it looks like Prince would start on more than half of the top teams in the conference (according to my completely subjective rankings). I'd trade Tay for Thaddeus Young, I'd make that deal so fast that it'd make your head spin, I'd also take Hedo over Tay, and sometimes I'm not 100% sure that Tay is an upgrade over Pietrus.
I think Turkeyglue and Tay are about a wash. There offensive numbers are nearly indentical. Tay probably plays slightly better defense.
Detroit Northwestern and Cass Tech star Chris Douglas-Roberts who was no question the second best player on the Memphis Tigers 2008 NCAA runner up team to Derrick Rose could have been that back-up SF to Tay that everyone has been pinning for the past 5 years. However, Joe and his draft team ignored him in the 2008 draft and he was selected 40th by the Nets....and is in the league playing while the guy the Pistons drafted and traded to Seattle is sitting in street clothes on the Thunder bench and the guy we got in the trade for him ~Walter Sharpe played in 8 games last season and is currently trying to get some cash together to fly to Europe to see if he can catch on with one of those teams. Like I have said before who evaluates the college players in the Piston organization before they are drafted and oversees their development once they are picked? I know this needs it's own thread because we have had this issue for years.......
Damn dude I was gonna say the exact same thing... corrupt minds think alike :^) I was hoping Joe could talk Philly into a swap... that kid (Young) is gonna be good... he'll be in A.I's shadow though.
Tay is more intellegent and a better team guy... Pietrus is hands down more agressive and a better defender (the playoffs vs LeBron is a good litmus)

Isn't this KG's point though. He said top 12 in the L and Tay comes out in the middle at best in the conference.
Well I got around to watching the Brandon Jennings home opener finally. I missed you guys in chat but I was driving down to the Bay Area to see the Michael Jackson movie with my family on Halloween night. What the hell? I watched the first half last night and fell asleep at around 1 am thinking "pretty nice solid half, good shooting by little ben and stuckey." Then I woke up and caffeinated this am to the second half. Yikes. Really I can't even figure out what happened. I had to read this whole thread to try to figur' it out. Brandon Jennings happened for sure. We couldn't defend anything I guess. And we couldn't hit anything. So that was all she wrote. I hope we don't see many more losses like this. It seemed so unnecessary. I agree with whoever said the announcers were good. They knew their stuff.
CJ you betta' go watch T-Young play, that young'n can get it done and is only going to get better, Tay is only going to get worse.
