And Marion. Also for some reason Mark Blount seems to be on fire. The line-ups are scattered though and we seem to be having a turn-over party with CB leading the way. Not a major deal, better to work out the kinks now. edited to add; And Beasley; i totally forgot about him. Hey, the heat don't suck.
That Billups is still carrying his turn-over from last year. Put some super glue on his hands or something. Put Katie Smith on the team. I heard she just won an WNBA. This is getting intolerable.
Stuckey is so golden. I can't wait to watch him this season. LOL. Overtime in the first pre-season game. Too much. I wish I could have seen this game. From the boxscore and the radio broadcast, Sheed was invisible. I just really wonder about Sheed this season. I wonder alot of things, and I'm wondering them way too soon. I'm wondering if we can get a front court game instead of the guards doing all the scoring. And I'm wondering how being the center again for a whole season will wear on Sheed. Too soon to speculate, but you all know how it is.
Amir is averaging more than one foul every 3 minutes. This is a major problem for him. Pistons with 23 turnovers. That's not good. If Detroit can manage to pull this out in overtime, I think Michael Curry will win the NBA Coach of the Year award.
With 7 three point attempts, it obvious Sheed was still thinking about what he saw at South Beach last night...
The only reason that Mark Blount is on fire is because he always loses to the Pistons. I know everyone remembers that game where Rip made that shot over him in Boston with 00.8 tenths of a second left on the clock. He hates our guts. And it's a close game because they have 23 flucking turnovers!!!!
Pistons overtime lineup: Bynum, Maxiel, Herrmann, McDyess, Afflalo I wonder if this will be our crunch time lineup in the regular season...
I seriously hope not. Sheed/Amir both having fouling problems in this game. I wonder how/who's drawing them. Beasley ? or having to come over and help. 23 TO's, looks like KB's not impressive either All that being said it's is so refreshing to see (hear LOL) this team fight. And Stuckey showing his clutchness (is that a word?) was not a fluke. edited to add; I didn't even realize Stuckey fouled out. I wondered why he got taken out.
Rodney was the man tonight, however it does not appear that his rookie mate Aflollo has progressed yet, but it is still early and maybe he his specialty will be defense and he did grab 7 boards. For Sheed and Billups, this was a preseason for them with one shooting sven three pointers and the other having six turnovers, Without seeing the game, cannot really tell how Amir or Kwame looked out there so the jury is still out on both of them. To bad the Lions were embarrased or this could have been a nice sports day in Michigan....
Preseason wins are huge in sports. I mean, look what it did for the Lions after they went 4-0 in the preseason...
