whatchoo talking bout Willis? I beg to differ as there are a lot of Piston fans in LA who will watch the Pistons if the game is televised, which explains why a lot us have NBA League Pass. Besides that each year, we put at least three to four thousand Piston fans in the stands at Clipper games and drown out their fans with our cheers. We cannot do the same at Laker games because of season ticket holders and the cost of tickets but we still show up around town in our gear and the Laker fans give us respect for at least being competitive every season even though they still believe they were better in 2004...
LOL I forgot about the people that cheer us like crazy when we play the Clippers. That should be a home game for us. But really there ain't no REAL Lakers fans there at that game.
For sure. Here's a link for audio streams: NBA.com: Audio League Pass Audio League Pass is free for everyone.
It's working for me TaShawn. You have to register for the nba site if you haven't done that. If you have, you have to enter email address and password. But I definitely have the last two minutes of the first quarter. Cool.
While i appreciate not being able to see the game in terms of having a midterm tomm (although i'm not studying anyway!), i'm with you LK, this really sucks. I'm dying to see how the "new" team looks.
No game report except to sum up some observations, as the game is not on. However, I am posting a play by play over at the "old site". Not too much beyond what you would see from a game log, but I am trying to add what I can. So far, not a whole lot of success in the post. Kwame, as advertised, passes out of the post every time. Herrmann did hit a 3 off one of those. But Kwame is not picking up any fouls, and giving us no scoring inside. Worse, most of the time, we are throwing the ball away when trying to feed the post. At the end of the half, Jason Maxiell drew a foul in the post, and got 1 of 2 at the line. Next time down, he nails a ten footer off a post move. Thats at least something for post play. Amir Johnson got a tip on our first miss, and that led to a jumper made by Rip after Johnson's missed tip try. Amir also got a tip in right at the end of the half after Bynum drove in and missed. Stuckey is having a pretty darn good game. He has hit a few jumpers and gotten inside on them quite a bit. The announcer on the radio is getting pretty darn excited about what he is seeing, though he ain't describing too well what is happening. Where is George when you need him. Herrmann has hit for double digits himself, both on long shots and going inside. Between him and Stuckey, that has been most of our "inside game" tonight. Amir Johnson has 3 fouls. The first one called a ticky tack one on the perimeter. The 2nd fouling Blount as Blount rolled inside. The 3rd described as Amir bowling over a player, offensive foul. For the game flow, we started out behind, caught up. Traded baskets til the end of the first quarter. The 2nd quarter saw us go on a run where we gave up no points for a while. Stuck and Afflalo were in the backcourt together.
Why is it such a close game? Shouldn't the Pistons be wooping their butts or something? I mean all they got is Wade.
