lpgrl has made clear all year that if she thinks it will be a bloodbath, she'd rather not watch, so I don't think this is news now.

Which I think is fine. Everyone deals with it in different ways. I have to say, when we got our butts kicked by Boston in 2002, I turned away from the TV more than once.

    reg. the Cavs series;
The way I see it, nothing but GOOD can come outta this.
EITHER the Pistons shock the world...
    or
...we get to watch the END of the Michael Curry administration.

    It's all good!

I don't think you can not watch the playoffs at this point.

You have to suffer with thte team or you can't really enjoy their success...I mean, you can't just tune in when things are great.

    I'm ready to suffer.

Oh, I agree 100%. I am excited to see how this thing spins out of control.

Will it end in a flaming heap?

Will it get crushed against the barrier?

Or will it be a controlled spin, that comes under control and we race across the line hollywood style....

It is sort of strange going into a playoff series knowing that we are the weaker team. Haven't felt that in a while.

We are used to knowing that we are the better team and hoping that nothing goes wrong.

The teal years really made me appreciate the '04 championship a whole lot more.

Gotta take the good with the bad.
I might not always like what I'm watching, but I'm always gonna watch.

I will probably end up watching a game or two due to my inability to stay away from the TV, but honestly i'd rather not. I don't think i'm recovered from Game 5/6 of last year + plus this year, and i think i'd be better off reading Lee's recaps.

That's not what i'm doing at all. I've unfortunately sat through 95% (make that 99%) of the games this season. I loathe Lebron, and seeing us get punked (if that's what happens) is not something i want to subject myself to. IF the Pistons fought, it would be different, but my main problem is they turn into doormats and take it. It's also hard to enjoy the game when i spend half the time cursing at Curry and his rotations.

    Thanks.

Quite possibly the worst chat for attendance, ever. Luckily, the people who stayed through the end were good folks, so we made the best of it.

Is there going to be any interest in a playoff chat?

I didn't watch the game, but did we really get lit up by that scrub Quinn? ... 26 points on 13 shots. Really?

I eventually went to the TV, since the feed went down on my side.

Well that was a fitting end.

Curry manages to screw up the bench rotations even when the starters aren't playing.

Abused on the O glass, and by dribble penetration. Amir comes in and voila! We no longer suck. So Curry logically takes him out since he plays a huge part in getting us back into the game and he will likely get off the bench again in 2010.

Max steps up, but ultimately chokes at the line. And Kwame continues his solid play, but we get lit up by Chris Quinn. The reccuring get abused at the PG positon theme. Chauncey Billups defense is not looking so bad now.

This game shouldn't have been this close in the first place, but hey where's the fun in playing rotations to ensure that? In an exciting twist, instead of losing we go to overtime . . . and then lose.

Curry shuts Amir out in OT unless you count that ultra important 1 second. And continues with his no subs past 6 min in the 4th quarter rule with the exception of bringing in someone off the bench to shoot the game winner which was not needed in this game.

In future games this will all be moot because Dice/Sheed will finish games.

AA shows again that he's awesome, and clutch as hell which in essence will be useless since he won't play any important minutes anyway.

Can we have the Bynum that goes to the basket back please ? And please don't play him in the final minutes. He's makes the worst mistakes possible.

All in all a microcosm of the season. Talent isn't lacking. Coaching is.

Brightside; If Curry is gone, and we are rebuilding aka not playing older guys 40 min+ in a misguided attempt at "making a run", this team might be fun to watch next year.

I came in and then got kicked out. I was wondering why there were only 2 people.

Excellent games by Kwame, Maxiel and Bynum. No PT in this one for Sharpe. Curry preferred to play Walter Herman 37 mins.

As usual the Pistons come close, have that typical 4-6 point lead in the 4th, and cannot close out the deal. At least there were some athletic front court guys in there to grab some offensive boards or it would have ended in regulation. Bench player Chris Quinn steps up and the Pistons had no answer.

You player of the game Kwame Brown had 17 points, 13 boards and 3 steals. He played within his zone - did not try to do anything he could not do, and had a great game. Not bad for a guy who was declared as an ending experinment about 40 games into the season. Not sure if Curry meant as a starter or as a player period. At any rate - just another example of a wasted opportunity this season.

    Its official. 39-43.

My feed worked all game. Sometimes you just have to refresh.

I know AG had problems connecting too.

Oh well, NYPF and I had a good time, until Woody and Bill Laimbeer showed up, then we had a great time.
