Detroit Pistons at Houston Rockets Tuesday December 15 8:30 pm Local TV: FS Detroit Nat'l TV: Radio: 97.1 The Ticket
Real test right here. This Hou team goes hard everynight, this has to be the most overachieving team in the NBA since The Pistons in Cola's 1st year, going to be a fun game.
Ben Gordon and Will Bynum questionable, talked to them both about their injuries and also have an update on Richard Hamilton The Oakland Press Blogs: Pistons' Point: Gordon, Bynum questionable for Tuesday
Guys, we need to give the love to our local beat writers. If we post a response to Dave on the forum here, let's give him some support and write that same response on the Oakland site.
"I’m trying everything. Massage. It’s been tough, but I just have to figure out a way to get through it.” Sounds like life is tough being an athlete. My wife is always offering me massages when I have a hard day at work. Yeah; right!!
I'm surprised Kuester told Rip he's coming out and Rip told Kuester to leave him in for 2 more minutes. Coach has to step up and do what's right.
THE last time I was in Houston for Pistons game. Still one of my favorite photos ever. And during the game, I actually made the jumbo screen while I was dancing with the framed photo of the starting 5 that I took to the game. I also got to talk with Bill Walton(who signed the frame,LOL), Luther Head (after the game-I told him about public perception and to keep his head up) and shook hands with Chauncey and Tay. Muchos funos!
seems that expensive hobby for HQ, he has not been capable of dressing his daughters at full clothes yet... HQ has to work harder.
The Rockets are a surprise team this season. They have a better than .500 record without their 'all stars' of Yao Ming and TMac. The have a bunch of role players and their 'grind it out' style of play got them this record and the reason Adelman prevented TMac from coming back is that he might spoil the 'chemistry' of their style of play. It looks like we are playing a 'mirror' team (if we are still without Rip). This will be a totally 'grind it out' game. With Ariza being suspended, I hope we have enough offensive power this win this game. If we can keep Landry and Scola of the offensive boards, we will win hands down. Hopefully, Ben, JJ, Max & V can check them. Our guards of Stuck, Rip & BenG (hopefully he plays) must keep both Brooks & Battier busy on the defensive end. We could go 3-0 this trip.
Our Houston games from last year were horrific. Dyess and Sheed got totally outplayed by the likes of Scola and Artest, running the pick and roll. Anyone else remember that game at the Palace that was a beat down in the first quarter? I think Ron Ron had like 3 or 4 three's in the first quarter. We will see how our NEW and IMPROVED frontline handles Scola and Landry.
