The Pistons travel to Chi-Town to take on the Bulls. In the Pistons 104-98 victory in December, Rodney Stuckey dropped 40.

Hopefully DET will use up a lot of energy trying to beat the CHI before the play a young athletic Hawks team tomorrow.

It would be nice to see Sheed play 46 minutes tonight without over time.

Any guesses on who it will be tonight that the Legend Makers spark to a career night? Will it be Rose with a rookie record in points and assists? Ben Gordon or Kirk Hinrich threatening the franchise record for points? Perhaps it will be Tyrus Thomas with an NBA record for offensive rebounds?

Any ideas on how we could come up with a contest where we try and pick which player lights us up before the games? Maybe we could have a prize if someone hits it Price is Right style with an exact prediction?

Thomas is finally playing like he really wants to be an NBA player. He could be the one.

I will say Ben Gordon just because who he's going to be guarded by. I predict he will look like Tony Parker going to the rin even though he doesn't go to the rim. Although Rose is a possibility since he can't really shoot and we will probably still go under all the screens. Then again if Curry sticks to the brilliant plan of playing Dice or Max on TT a majority of the game, we can pencil in Tyrus for a big night.

On second thought i can't pick one, I choose all.

This is an interesting one. I would lean towards a guard being the one, but the Pistons could end up being so out of position from chasing the guards around that Thomas could end up being the beneficiary.

If done properly, this could be great. At what point in the second half will Sheed get taken out could be a question.

How qickly will Dyess be brought in? At what point will Amir have 2 fouls and/or 4 fouls?

At what point will Curry realize that Amir doesn't have to be taken out of the game with 4 fouls?

We would have given up on Tyrus Thomas by this point if he was a Piston. Young bigs can improve.

It would be really cool if Amir fouled out in the first Q. I wonder what the record is on that.

Not sure where to put this, but I thought Wojo nailed the current status of the Pistons:

Yeah, but he was trying to foul. You've got to give it Amir here because he's actually trying to play.

I've got to go with Roscoe here. Let him play the whole first and let's see if he'll foul out.

I'm with both of you. Play him every single game until he fouls out.

Since he's had more success while on the court than any other player on the team despite all of the fouls, then we should make sure we squeeze out the maximum possible usage out of him.

Look at Phoenix and Milwaukee. How much does it really hurt the Pistons to have a guy fouling the other team's players in the paint vs. just flat out letting them have their way with us? At least they have to make free throws when they are fouled.

Lay up line or free throw contest? I like the free throw contest; especially if Amir makes sure they feel the fouls he gives them.

Tryus Thomas is being told to play better for that Chicago can land Amar'e. (Conspiracy Theory)

Same reason why Knicks traded Zach Randolph, when he had good numbers.

Honestly, I hope Stuckey burns Rose. Drop 50!!! :gun1:

Does that mean AI's good as traded and we're keeping him on ice?

Ooooohhhhhh, good point. I think Joe D gave him food poisoning also so he doesn't come out on the wrong end of this trade.

    Is that right? Hmmm.

Might be a 3-way trade in the works. Who else is mysteriously out?

The Pistons guards should have a field day tonight, like they did in the last meeting. Rose and Gordon are both pretty horrible defenders. The key will be getting Rose in foul trouble, like they did in the last meeting.
