    FOUR IN A ROW BABY!

We're winning this one folks. You heard it here first.

Oh, and after the game, CV will totally out-tweet KG.

I wonder what kind of reception Chaz V will get in Boston?

You didn't hear it here first, but no way.

It's great that the team is improving, and to see everyone so supportive and excited after so long, but you know, Boston... on the road?

    Boston 19-3 @ Home games

    Pistons 4-17 @ Away games

    I just don't see it.

I doubt that Celts fans will even notice him.

They might get one of those kids with no hair to visit with him.

Pistons up 45-42 at the half. Starters doing well as they had to bail out the bench who allowed the Celtics to go up 7 midwy through the second before Q "adjusted" and brought all but Monroe back in to close out the half. Pistons close out the half on a 12-6 run to take the lead.

If we can maintain that lead/play even in the 3rd, we might pull out this game.

Rondo has been held somewhat in check so far. Tay has been guarding him some.

Pistons and Celtics play to a draw 16-16 so our streak of winning the 3rd comes to an end. To much one on one by STuckey and Tay in that qtr and not enough ball movement. Monroe was 3-3 in the first half and did not touch the ball in the third qtr.

Close, but no cigar as offense fizzles at the end...
Happiness was, oh, just so close...

McGrady and Stuckey both GAGGED this one away down the stretch in the fourth quarter. That was awful to watch.

The game was lost in crunch time and by the coach who may have had the wrong players in there in the last two minutes.

Pistons were up 82-78 with about 2:40 left in the game and scored their last two buckets on two beautiful reverse layups by G> Monroe. Monroe was 5-5 tonight....3-3 in the first half and 2-2 in crunch time, but his hoop was the last one the Pistons made as they took two ill advised threes by CV and Tmac (you know the kind Mr Bigshot would take and miss and you would throw your beer at the TV) . Then TMac took another jumper that missed after the C's tied the game, and then once the C's went ahead, Stucky missed a floater that would have tied it with about 18 seconds left. KG hit one FT to put the Celtics up one with about 10 seconds left.

OK how come we went for a 2 with all of the three point shooters in???

Celtics missed 11 free throws and had 17 turnovers and tried to give the game to the Pistons, but we failed to capitalize on their mistakes. We got killed on the boards especially on the offensive end.

Moral victory?? Nope a heartbreaking loss.

I was thinking the same....and then to stand there and beg for a call after the drive? It didn't look like a foul.

Great Game! We went on the road and held our own against a team that's almost unbeatable at home. In this game their guys (Pierce, KG and Allen) hit clutch J's down the stretch and we didn't, Stuck and T-Mac missed some shots that need to go in to beat Boston at home. With all that said EVERY Piston could've played better tonight and we still almost won. This new lineup is good folks and guys are now in their proper roles, we still gotta find a way to keep Bengo on the floor in the 4th- especially when he starts to feel it! I thought Stuckey had a really good game (a good learning experience), it's funny I don't mind him shooting, driving/colliding at all anymore, I have ZERO beef when our SG (Scoring Guard) is attacking the rim because that is now his job/duty/responsibility; It's no longer his job to get guys shots or set up the offense and he seems to flirt with 20ppg almost effortlessly as the off guard, had he got a few BS calls to go his way he would have had 20 tonight and that's not easy to do against Bost in Bost.

If I recall...I use to make those more often than not.

Very frustrating to see the refs mess up on that charge on Stuckey against Davis. Clearly in the restricted area...they should be able to review that, like they can review whether a shot was a two or a three. Stuckey was 5/10 I think at that point and was well on his way to 20, instead he picks up his 4th foul...

Ah well. Stuckey is a lot better as a SG, and as for BG, he needs to play better, simple as that. He got many clean looks, some wide open...and missed most of them. ..
