:P very true.... I think our vets should treat injuries this year different then in years past... they should be 100 percent before coming back... thats win win.... no reason for them to come back before there ready to go, plus the kids are getting more burn time. As much as I am going to hate myself for saying this.... but I'd be giving chucky 10-15 mins a night right now so our 2 starters mins don't get out of hand.
the issue, we were never told 2-3 weeks....The first 3-4 games it was just a note saying the day of the game saying Rip will not be available tonight...then it was he probably will not be available for the next few games.. Agree the way that Stuckey has been on and off, it would be nice to see chucky out there for a few mins "distributing" the ball..for 10 mins as you say. especially with these west coast back to backers.... after all what is he on the squad for. he is dressed and once rip comes back...he goes back to street clothes.
True... unless Rip has a bad ACL then it's R.I.P. on the IR... for which WB will get + PT which is worthy of the MLE. According to the CBA we can move CW on 12-15... CW + QB + pick to get our 5 man.... EIEIO
Why isn't he in the game then? You don't play the game sitting down! What a slacker. Iron man. Bah! Trade his lazy bottom outta here. On a serious note, that sounds like a lower disc. Not fun. I had a herniated disc on my lumbar area and it took a long time to get back to normal. Prince is not as flabby as I, so hopefully he'll be back soon.
No we can't. Wilcox+Brown=$7.1Mx125%= $8.875M. There's nobody out there that we can get worth having for under $9M, and we don't really have any fillers on our roster, we should've signed 15th player to the vet min, $825K. Nope our 5 man will have to include moving Maxiel's $5M. KB+Max+Pick=5. Which I can't understand, I honestly think that NewOrl's would do this in a heartbeat.
and Rip still watches the game on HD 50 inch screen in a lounge chair from the locker room sipping on gin and juice
Which players trade value drops exponentially once Rip & Tay come back (including their own career comparisons)? They're not even back yet and a thread is on it's way about how the younguns are being cheated.
From our perspective, the play of the rookies makes Prince more expendeble than Rip. The few off-nights Gordon have shown that Rip still has a place in this team. We might've pulled off 1-2 wins during that West coast trip if Rip was playing. From a trade perspective Prince would be easier to move. There are several SGs that can do an adequate job in the league, but quality defensive minded SFs are not that abundant. Prince can be a very attractive target for a team that has a dominant scorer in another position. Oh, and most important of all, his contract is way more moveable than Rip's. Unless a team that has a dire need for an SG comes with an offer that Joe can't refuse, I don't see Rip going anywhere.
Rip or Tay may be expendable but if others do not have something decent for Dumars to offer, all this talk is null and void. Please don't mention "scoring dominant big boy". they are not available. please don't mention "true PG". also not available or are past of their best before ( Kidd?Billups?). Don't fool youreselves.
I think now would be a good time for Joe to show some loyalty to Tay and extend his contract 3-4 years at about 11 million per. Get him while his price is low.
