You're confusing drama with excitement again.
I went with the rebounding theory.
He's a Moses Malone type rebounder who racks up boards tipping in shots two or three times befor they fall.
I think he'll be awesome this year but will lack the all-around game to beat out the three guys who are ultimately selected before him. I think he'll be top-5 or 6 but still a year away from being top 3. Another factor to consider is that he'll likely be sharing shots and touches with two other bigs with Smith now in the mix.
Drummond will get his points off of defense, rebounds and garbage.
...which is TOTALLY fine by me and makes me pumped just thinking about it!
It's also TOTALLY fine by Andre.
No way will Drummond settle for being a dude who only shoots inches from the rim.
If Drummond can get north of 12 rpg with 12-14 ppg (coming off vicious dunks) 2 blocks while being known for picking PG's pockets for dunks, he can't make 3rd team?
