I'm skipping this and going to London for beers and soccer instead. Gonna miss that shooting contest Bosh always wins.

I watched 30 seconds of the celebrity game. Terrible. I watched 30 seconds of the rising stars game. Terribler. What a waste of time. I can't believe anyone would watch these things.

I can't believe they changed the rising stars game format to the US vs the world. Kind of lame if you ask me.

Too bad you missed Sage Steele doing the pre and post game. Smokin', like usual.

I'm watching a replay of an interview with D Wade this morning on NBA TV and he is dressed like a scarecrow for some reason.

Turner and Johnson definitely should gave been in the game....instead we have 3 players from both the Jazz and Twolves and two each from the Lakers, Magic and Nuggets. Only the Nuggets even have a chance to make the playoffs.

This format needs to either change back to Rookies vs Sophs or even taking the top 20 in the previous draft and see how they fair against each other with one team consisting of odd picks vs the even picks. At least we'd see who really got the best of the best and who wasted their pick.

I was at the airport so only saw the last 5 minutes of the first half and the first 7-8 of the second but it looked like a dunk and three point contest and a 10 second clock as guys just came down and jacked up threes and if it missed, there was a putback dunk.

I'm normally pretty jaded about the dunk contest but damn...
The finals between LeVine and Gordon was fo' real!

I thought Gordon shoulda won it.

Yes, Gordon got robbed on whatever dunk that was. He probably had the 2 nicest dunks.

The 3 point contest was great as well. Great competition.

Besides Gasol, there has been 1 free throw made in a game with nearly 400 points.

Drummond with a quiet 16 points.

Westbrook is being a ball hog. Guys have not been trying to help Kobe out much.

It is really a perfect game of skill. Simple scoring, simple rules.

The dunk contest being subjective and "creative" leads to a lot of disappointment.

Drumms, 16/13 a few put backs, leading rebounder.....he stayed out of the paint unless it was necessary, he didn't force any shots, got 5-6 dunks and a got a couple of eazy layups and avoided getting fouled...to avoid going to the line. Decent play for your first all-star appearance in the main game.

Probably needed to leave the dunking to the smaller athletic dudes that had the built in flash...of course he needed to work with guys he was familiar with to help with the prop setups...

Love the effort and the initiative of getting in the competition, but shoot freebies in your spare time..

Just for the PR I would have come out for the dunk contest with Nash at my side and just shot free throws.

I thought Steve Nash should have worn some bigger pants in the dunk contest.
