I'm not opposed to squeezing you in...if another person is interested at the last second. I mean you are a two time champion and all...

Unfortunately, I can't change the draft time now as most have planned for it already. Sorry fellas. And as it pertains to trading draft picks. Not happening. Did a draft last night and it appears that this is not an automated function. We would have had to determine/randomize the order in advance.

BTW, the Yahoo draft is the slickest draft yet. The new graphic animation is breath taking to say the least. I think I drooled last night. lol.

    So here is the deal.

I've emailed #1Pistonsfan the info to join the league. His involvement is contingent on a couple things.

    1) He signs up before 8pm.
    2) Someone else (an experienced GM) expresses an interest to play
    3) The accompanying GM signs up before 8pm as well

Should #1Pistonsfan be added to the league successfully, I will change the number of roster spots from 13 to 12 in order to allow for a more fruitful free agent pool.

If all of these conditions are not met, I will drop any players that were not a part of the original 14, close the league up and proceed to have the draft with no rules changed at 9pm. according to plan.

Please make sure to have your pre-draft list completed 45 mins prior to the draft or you will be forced to take the defaults. Drafting Gilbert Arenas or M. Ellis early would not be a fun experience obviously.

Take care, good luck and happy drafting!!!!!

I can't believe how good my team is. It's really not fair to the rest of the league.

Well, after shooting myself in the foot in previous years trying to beat the system, I decided I would use the default list. Aside from having too many guards, I like my team. its a good run of the mill also-ran.

so I checked in the morning and found out that I've finally got a team that is stuck with C's.
Funny that Ben gets drafted in the last (!!!) round. Even funnier that Darko got picked 2 rounds before him.
I'm very interested in doing trades since I got some players I didn't really want (because I couldn't participate in the live draft)!!!

Cs are always a premium. Sounds like you might be able to trade from a position of strength.

I will let the commissioner start the official 08-09 Advance League Banter, but just want to say that this years stat graphics are awesome!!:thumb[1]:

On a sour note, the # 1 draft pick Lebron James had almost triple double numbers, but the only other player giving him back up last night was Channing Frye who gave me about as much ompf as his team mate Greg Oden did which was nothing... but now that Oden is questionable I will hold on to Frye for at least...thru the weekend to see if he can give me some FP with more PT

By the way I did give Lebron his Advance league ring from last season before the game ....and he cried just like Paul Pierce did...

it sucks, I wake up, check the scores, try to add Chalmers and, of course, he's already taken- freakin' time difference makes it hard to pick up the probable sleepers who emerge soon in the season.
