In my opinion, it is the most competetive league, from top to bottom, on the forum. I also believe it is the one league where you actually better know something about the sport and the NBA because people are quickly making moves in anticipation of what MAY happen. So even if you have experience, but aren't very good at it yet, I would strongly suggest that you join the novice league.
It's YEAR 5 of the Advanced PF.Com League! Lots of spots available for Advanced! Step up! We'll be introducing two new changes this year to spice up the format. This year we will have two divisions. The rule change will affect scheduling and playoff spots. Division leaders automatically advance but the seeding will still be based on regular season record. The playoffs will start a week earlier doing away with the last 3 days of the season which are a complete buzz kill anyway. The playoffs will be extended to 8 teams instead of 6 with no consolation tournament. This means no more bye rounds. New Season! New rules! New flavor! 8 Teams are currently signed up. Plenty of room for more! Let's get busy!
already deleted, was a mistake during the registration process. I guess I wanted the first seed in both divisions.
This will be interesting with 10 teams. Last time I played was that year we had 14 teams and you had to be johnny on the spot to get anyone decent off the wire.
