Perhaps you just need a rematch with my team. You'll have to wait until week #13 for that, though....

Pretty close Darth, but not close enough for me. 0.002 in free throw shooting, two steals, or one turnover in either direction would have moved the final in any number of directions.

Yeah that was super close I think my guys pulled that one out of their butt at the zero hour. Lucky for me Gibson played late so I had a chance to sit him or I would have lost free throws and therefore lost the match.

    Tough league...as always.

Time for someone to knock Tater off for the first time this season...might as well be me :)

Everyone say a prayer asking that Avery Johnson stop hating on Troy Murphy and let him play  :D

It's a dangerous night to be an Aurora Guardian. I don't know what these guys asked Santa for for Christmas but it obviously wasn't a win in the Advanced League this week. Now that they're all home snug in their million dollar homes I wonder if it has occurred to them that they all might be looking for a team next week. I never took a shine to any of them in the first place. The computer drafted them. Truth is, the only ones I bother to turn on the television and watch play are little Steph (bless his heart) and Kirk Hinrich (heart of a champion!). The rest of them make me yawn. I mean of course I have to keep Eric Gordon and Al Horford because they are good basketball players but you know they're just lacking in the inspiration and hotness departments. And Ray-Ray I have to keep even though I never liked the man not even as a Sonic and he doesn't have the prettiest shot in the game, our Ben Gordon does.

Jason Richardson and Al Harrington are inconsistent as the day is long and also totally uncharismatic and they are both getting worse at their strengths. That's always sweet. Lopez scores, Varejao rebounds but if they had to change roles they wouldn't be in the NBA. Calderon is useful but definitely not worth turning the tv on for and Darren Collison, Darren Collison really really should not sleep well tonight.

1-8! 1-8! 1-8! It's unfathomable! And huge numbers! I won't stand for it. If the Aurora Guardians are going to be a bottom feeder team, we'll at least have a bunch of hot free agents that play five minutes a game and look good doing it!

Thanks Aurora. lol. It's still a long season. An injury here and there or a couple hot free agent pickups can change things for you quickly.

    Seriously Webzie....19 steals on a Monday...19???

I scouted your team before the match and certainly didn't expect to win the category. I thought my 14 steals were pretty darned good...but 19???

    Really? 19? Really?

Not to mention your 43 assists!! Nobody else in the league even came close. Looks like I ran into the wrong team this week, Mate.

Yeah, I have a team strong in steals and assists, but I've been treading water lately with a number of injuries (Wall, Blatche, Roy, Noah...). I think I had 26 steals in one day earlier in the season. I thought that was pretty impressive.

We'll see what happens this week - I've lost faith in my teams ability to stay healthy so my aspirations have been tempered somewhat. That said, I've been losing to other teams who are also injured.
