Re: Advanced League 2010-2011 - Draft Discussion

I was minding the gap since there were four computer picks in front of me and one after (the only pick between the end and beginning of the snake). Last year I thought the computer was always picking instantly and always picking the top ranked player.

This year it always too between 15 and 20 seconds, and didn't seem to always take the top ranked guy.

Yeah, I think it kind of "considers" the owner's needs and looks at trends of where people are actually picked in other drafts. Anyhow, I am confident it did better than I would have. I done very little research before drafting these last couple years...and it shows.:pound:

I wish the league had an IR position. It's tough holding guys that are injured, but you it's hard to drop a Joe Johnson...

My players have quit on me...no one wants to or can make a three point hoop, they shoot recklessly keeping my FG below 44%, they turn the ball over such that I have bever won that category in the 5 weeks we have been playing~~~ so in the infamous words of Mrs. Fletcher, : I've fallen and I can't get up!!!!

yeah, the FG % just suck. You never know if you win or loose. I think I've lost them every time too and I have DHo on my squad who should win FG% by himself.

I'm in that happy time between the end of the last game on Sunday and the beginning of the first game on Monday, when all things are possible.

What do you mean that you forgot? You can make substitutions 24/7.

I'm in Novice (weekly). Bogut first came back from being injured on Sunday night, but I forgot to switch him back in until today.

I have Kobe, 5 time NBA champion and former MVP winner and runner up last year? , Tyreke Evans, last years rookie of the year and the runner up Brandon Jennings and this years probable Rook of the year, Blake Griffin, and perennial allstar and 4 time NBA champion Tim Duncan on my team and I am strugging.

Those five guys on paper could beat the Miami Heat...so I why lounging near the bottom?? Guess I need to fire the GM/coach.

now that was night. I hate the time difference. I wake up, Dwight Howard has 4 new team mates and he's no longer on my team. Too bad, I probably wouldn't have traded him then, because it will be interesting to see if he gets better with all these new players surrounding him - but I really couldn't count on such a trading frenzy

Ah, Aurora, must have been bittersweet to watch Prince run the Guardians out of the building last night.

Aurora and I always text back and forth about 20 times (at least) a day during fantasy basketball season . Especially during the games.

Believe me...there was no "sweet" to that "bitter".
