In Sweden we have a new rule that it is not allowed to crown a winner in cups or leagues for kids below 13 years. That is how you breed a nation of winners.

Yup. In North America kids aren't encouraged to do physical activity in school in a significant way. We've given up on developing Ubermensch. I have always been impressed with the attitude of Aussies.

I'd like to say my country is better, but it really isn't. LOL

Bowser is going to be our representative at the lottery. Would have loved to see SVG's new dog instead.

If only they played like the 79~96 Pistons.

The scary thing is that one day the horse-head logo will make its retro comeback.

Does anyone have any good luck schemes or magic voodoo tricks that will help our draft lottery chances?

I am sure I have some stuff leftover from 80's with that old logo that I can sell someone if they need it...

We should sent this guy ... paid for his flight, lodging, Uber and meal and had him sit there showing off his tattoos instead of Bowser...

Are there any decent players floating around there?

Maybe Malik will fall 7 spots.

I was super pumped seeing Bowser repping us at the lottery! How's it feel to be second fiddle, Magic Johnson?

Let's hope we back into a player here. I wish I believed in Van Gundy. More than likely we're beefing up the D-League team.

On the bright side I think SJ might be ready for 15 mpg this season. Thank god he won't be playing in the Summer L this year. He might get better there. I like how it is now, he can either come in and do it all like LBJ or not play. There is no in between.

We never catch a break, except when Dumars wasted a top 3 on Darko.

SJ's play determines his minutes. He was playing 25-30 minutes a game as a rookie when he was playing well.

Hold on. Are you saying minutes should be tied to performance?

My lord, you're some throwback to caveman days. Dude, it is 2017!

The Lakers get the number two pick--so losing does pay off. Probably get Lonzo Ball. The lottery is a mockery, though. Philadelphia gets another top 3 pick. How many times can a team get a top pick in a short period? See Cleveland. Should be restrictions. The Pistons have one winning team in ten years and the highest pick has been the 7th pick. Yes, the organization does not cater to the structure of the system, but the system too is at fault.

Why does it feel that the Pistons are in limbo? A 12th pick. Sign Pope to a near max contract to get a combination of Jackson and Pope that does not seem to work with Andre. A franchise player (maybe?) in Andre that can not be put to the test because of the generally sub-par guard play around him.

So where does this go? If Jackson does not pan out (what is his real level?), the team may be looking at a 30 win season next year. If the offense does not improve, how will the wins come?

Problem: There does not seem to be room to make moves for the Pistons. There are many teams in the league that have hit their ceiling: Portland, Toronto, Washington, etc., etc. and may be willing to move a key player. But the Pistons do not have a player they could trade to make a deal. Heard that it would be hard to do a sign and trade with Pope. Morris has a small contract. Harris is the team's best offensive threat day in and day out on a team that lacks offense. Trade Harris? Does not make sense. And trading Andre will blow up the team even before Andre was given a chance with steady, if not elite guard play around him.

The playoffs have been horrible. The 3 ball rules. If you hold a team to 100 points you might win. There is no mid-range game. Most teams are actually poor offensively. The points come from a sheer volume of shots and from the 3 versus the 2. The 3 ball artificially adds about 10 points to teams totals.
