    How good is this?

I bet I could get 90% of the announcers pregame banter down now. I'm glad "we're" not playing Toronto so "we're" not pushed off to NBA TV.

With everyone already having the Cavs coming out of the East, I liken this to the 2004 NBA Finals when every media outlet, person, fan on earth in the universe had the Lakers team of HOFamers winning the title by a landslide (Lakers in 4, Pistons can't score).

The same thing can happen this season if they believe and RJ, Dre and the bench show up.

Drummond needs to manhandle these Cavs.

I was trolling a Cavs forum today. Half the people are convinced it's a sweep and they're convinced that they'll average 120 pts per game. The other half is very worried.

Your loss. I don't have much good to say about Canada, but Justin Bieber is awesome.

Canada is cool...except when My car window got smashed in Toronto.

If Bieber is your taste...we're good.

Happy about the playoff appearance. I do think the Pistons should be where Boston and Charlotte is record-wise so I am not fully satisfied with the regular season. Maybe I have the team over-rated, maybe it is the youth, or maybe it is the coaching.

But the playoffs will tell us much more about this team. I will be looking closely at the guard play. If you look at this team, the front line looks pretty solid going forward. Morris showed who he is during that stretch run. There is talk that the team needs a stretch forward. Sure, the current team will need to get better at 3 point shooting. But it is the tandom of Reggis and Pope that I have doubts about. Jackson can score in the clutch--that is a big plus. Can he do it when it really counts in the playoffs against a major team? We will find out. Pope does not bring enough offense for a two guard. Can the Pistons get any offense from him when it counts? I do not really buy into his defense making up for the spotty offense. But lets see what Pope can do when defense really rules in the playoffs. Can he have an impact? Will the Piston guards show enough to be confident about the twosome going forward into next year. The Pistons need to keep improving. The goal should be the elite level for an organization that has won 3 championships. A 500 team is not enough.

Besides watching closely the guard play, it will be good to see where Andre is at this point. He will be tested. He is still the franchise.

The beauty of the playoffs is that you can't hide. You produce or you don't. Stan has shown he will change the personnel in an instant to get better. Stan will be able to evaluate after the playoffs what the team needs.

At the moment, I would draft a guard with the pick. But let the playoffs speak and go from there.
